How About Your School? / How To Pass Any Exam Easily
« on: June 17, 2016, 09:31:46 am »

Every now and then, students all over the world ask a very simple question; how do i pass an exam when i have got no time?. Though passing any kind of exam requires consistent practice, understanding the subject matter, getting past questions and so on. Lots of students at the beginning of the semester or term, make vows like; I'm going to make sure i read very well this time, i must get all my materials ready, It will definitely be different this time. I'm going to stay on top of everything, color code all my notes and never leave anything to the last minute. Though this never happens in truth.
So, how can you overcome that two weeks hurdle? How can you pass that exam in less than a month, how can you know what to read and what not to read? That's why you are here, because this is a guide on last-minute, effective reading plan.
Here's how to pass an exam when you have got no time at all...
Once you have made up your mind to scale through that examination successfully, the first thing is to prepare your resources - paper, notes, pen, dictionary, books, novels and other study materials. At this point, you may not find your favourite materials, but make sure you get as much as possible because this will enable you to flip through them easily.
Once you get set, the next thing is to come up with a study pattern or plan. Ask yourself how and when is conducive to study. Some people study better at night, while others study better in the morning, i also know people who study better when listening to musics while some others see it as a distraction. Knowing what moves you and what doesn't will help you to map out a better study plan. You haven't got time to cover everything so pick a few areas to revise and tick them off a list.

Gov. Rauf Aregbesola of Osun on Tuesday said students who wore unauthorised cloths to any public schools in the State would be expelled henceforth.

Aregbesola stated this at the commissioning of St Micheal’s Government Middle School, Ibokun while reacting to different choir robes and garments wore to Baptist High School in Iwo by some Christian students.

He said it was wrong and criminal for a section or group of people to have directed some innocent students to wear choir robes to schools against court’s judgment.
He urged whoever was not satisfied with the judgment to ventilate the grievance through legitimate means rather than trying to cause crises by resorting to self help.
According to him,``Government is not interested in any religion as being speculated. My goal is to improve education standard in the state.’’

Deputy Governor Titilaoye Tomori, who doubles as the Commissioner for Education, said the inauguration of the school had confirmed their mission statement in education.
Tomori said no fewer than 20 elementary, 22 middle and 17 high schools had either been commissioned or were at final stages of commissioning.

State Chairman, Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB), Mr Felix Awofisayo urged people to pay tax so that government can do more.
Some students of Iwo Baptist High School wore church garments and robes to school on Tuesday in reaction to the court ruling allowing Muslim female students to wear veils (hijab) to schools.

The Federal College of Education (Technical), Gombe, has reportedly been shut down indefinitely by the management following students' protest of inadequate water supply on campus.

According to Thenation, the school had be deserted and students sent home pending invitation to continue with their truncated second semester which started in April, 2016.

The college's provost, Dr. Gimba Abbas said the College would remain closed until management does its assessments, meet and decide on way forward which he said would take three weeks.

Abbas confirmed that there were some casualties during the uprising.

He said about six students were affected, five of them being asthmatic were affected by the police teargas while the other got a bullet wound.

TheNation spoke with some students who explained that the campus has been suffering from water scarcity for three days now.

“We are in a fasting period. In the morning, there will be no water to cook or do ablution for prayers. In the evenings, it is the same thing; we don’t get water to prepare something to break the fast.

“I was in my hostel I heard voices from the other block, ‘we no go gree, we no go gree’. Before you know it, everyone joined. Now we have been told to go home” they said.

Contacted, the Police Public Relations Officer, Gombe Command, Ahmed Usman said there was no casualty but confirmed the injury of a staff of the institution who was pelted by the students.

He said about 100 students were apprehended in connection with the crises and they were immediately released to their Dean of Students Affairs after their statements were taken.
