Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti is
delighted with Karim Benzema's recent
performances and believes the
Frenchman's presence is benefiting the
whole team.
Benzema has played his part in Real
Madrid's fine recent form, with eleven goals
in ten games so far, a tally he will be aiming
to add to when Los Blancos play Celta Vigo
this weekend.
For Ancelotti, Benzema is playing just as
well as the team as a whole, with the
process also working in reverse, as the
Frenchman boosts the team.
"Karim's form is a reflection of the team's
form, good on every level" , Ancelotti was
quoted as saying by FIFA.
"Karim is being boosted by the team, but
the team is also being boosted by Karim,
not only because of his goals, but also
because of his all-round performance" , the
Italian tactician added.
Should Real Madrid beat Celta Vigo this
weekend, they would record their 18th win
in a row in all competitions, equalling
Barcelona's record from the 2005/06
campaign.
