The threat faced by Sarri is coming after he suffered two terrible defeats. First was a 5-0 loss to Bournemouth and recently a 6-0 defeat to Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium.
After the City game, Sarri admitted that his job at Stamford Bridge was under threat.
According to The Sun UK, Sarri is running out of backers among the Stamford Bridge hierarchy.
The club has been having talks on who will replace him should they finally decide to sack him. One of those tipped for the job is former Chelsea player Frank Lampard who ruled a move out as he commits his future to Derby County.
Zinedine Zidane, who is currently free, has been tipped as the next manager fit enough to replace Sarri, haven won his third straight Champions League crown with Real Madrid.
