Eligibility: Applicants must:

-firstly, apply for admission into a University of Canberra  degree course (students requiring a pathway will not be eligible);
-provide evidence of significant academic merit and elite sporting achievements via attached supporting documentation
-be a citizen of the Republic of South Africa and relocating to undertake their studies

How to Apply:  Completed Application form should be sent via post.
-attach a 500 word statement outlining your academic and sporting achievements and how the financial assistance provided by the scholarship would directly contribute to the advancement of your education, sporting and career ambitions;
-Provide at least two relevant references relating to the scholarship as well as providing any such documentation that may support the application.

Description: This scholarship is for Republic of South Africa citizens affiliated with a rugby union club who desire to commence a University of Canberra degree course in first semester 2014.There will be one scholarship offered to cover study for a maximum of three years. Brumbies Rugby will provide an internship of at least 10 hours per week during semester.

What does it cover? -A fully funded full-time University of Canberra degree (up to a maximum of three years).
-A one-off reimbursement of $1,500 to assist with relocation costs.

-Access to internship opportunities with Brumbies Rugby.

Selection Criteria: Selection will be based on a written statement which outlines the applicant’s academic and sporting achievements. Applicants may be called for an interview via Skype or telephone.
