Scholarship Description: Block Grant Partnerships (BGPs) are awards held by certain research organizations. A list of organizations holding BGPs, along with the subject areas in which they can offer studentships is available on the AHRC website. There is an internal competition at Liverpool Hope for these awards. Applications forms can be found along these tabs and must be submitted by Wednesday 1st May, or the particular course closing date, whichever is earlier.

What does it cover? -Fully-funded full-time AHRC students receive a maintenance stipend at least equal to the AHRC minimum rate, tuition fees, and access to additional allowances as detailed below.

Selection Criteria: Each application will be judged on its own merits using the following criteria:
-quality of the applicant
-preparedness of the applicant – for the proposed project and future career
-quality and feasibility of the project (including ethical issues).
Notification: End of May 2013 – Dean of Arts and Humanities Confirms Awards (candidates notified of outcome).
How to Apply: Applicants for an AHRC funding award should have applied to Liverpool Hope University through the normal applications process for entry onto the programme concerned, and be in receipt of an offer of admission (unconditional or conditional) by the time of submitting the application for AHRC funding.
