Everybody loves comfort and quick methods to do stuff. Would you rather drive all the way to the bank and stand in line to pay for dstv subscription or would you rather sit in the comfort of your couch or armchair (or whatever it is you sit on) and pay for dstv subscription online in just a few clicks?

I will briefly summarize it all in just a few steps:

Step 1: Visit www.quickteller.com

Step 2: In the Some featured services area, you would see Dstv Subscription. Under it, click Pay Dstv Bills. (If you do not find it in the front page, you can use the search box to search for "dstv" instead.)

Step 3: You should see a new page showing all the different dstv subscription packages. Click on the one you wish to pay for.

Step 4: Enter your email address and smart card number in the boxes provided and click next.

Step 5: Enter your name and click next.

Step 6: The payment page will open, showing you boxes where you will need to type your card details. You will need either your Verve atm card or your master card. Type your card details in the boxes provided.

Step 7: A page confirming your payment will be displayed.

Step 8: You will also receive a text message notification and email confirming your dstv online payment.

You are not finished yet.
After making a dstv subscription, you would need to activate it.

The steps below will show you how to activate your dstv subscription.

Step 9: First, tune to Africa Magic (dstv channel 114)

Step 10: Call 012703232, then wait and listen to the voice prompt.

Step 11: Press 1 to fix dstv error E16

Step 12: You would then be told to type the first ten digits of your dstv smart card number followed by #

Step 13: Your dstv subscription would be activated after a few minutes.
