It's easy now to configure your phone if it allows it with the settings for GPRS using an MTN sim card. The main settings are as follows

Just go to Services or the web browser settings on your phone and edit

Home page = http://loaded.mtnonline.com
 Access Point Name APN = web.gprs.mtnnigeria .net
 USERNAME = web
 PASSWORD = web
 Account/Settings Name = MTN GPRS(or any other name)
 IP Address = 10.199.212.2
 Port = 8080
 When giving the option to use either WAP or HTTP you should select HTTP

That's all you wwill need or betterstill, you can automate this entire process if you are using an original mobile phone(not made in china) by texting the word SETTINGS to 3888 and it is free
