Job Title: Innovation Manager
Location: Nigeria
Reports to: General Manager-Marketing

Purpose of the Job

To own and drive a compelling Innovation pipeline from ideation to commercialization by transforming our end to end innovation process, specifically ensuring the organization delivers the commercial step change in innovation implementation and execution.
Job Accountabilities/Key Responsibilities

Takes ownership of new product launches from concept development to commercial launch.
Takes the lead in preparing business cases for innovation and renovation.
Responsible for crafting product development brief in liaison with respective Brand Managers.
Responsible for driving through formula/packaging optimization initiatives, in conjunction with Research & Development, Regulatory Affairs, Brand teams, and Consumer Insights.
Manages the communication and effective flow of information and approval systems associated with the innovation Process.
Develops, shares and ensures effective use of best practice and common platforms relevant to product innovation.
Prepares detailed work breakdown structure, financial budget and timelines for the project.
Defines critical path of the project, anticipate potential obstacles.
Ensures that timelines are kept, objectives are met & key questions are answered.
Person Specification/Job Requirements

A first degree or its equivalent
At least 4 years in FMCG
Must have driven Innovation end to end as a core function

Job Title: Consumer Insight & Market Intelligence Manager
Location: Nigeria
Reports to: General Manager-Marketing

Job Description

To provide consumer, shopper and market insights; synthesizes multiple pieces of research and information into clear and compelling recommendations for the business.
Job Accountabilities/Key Responsibilities

Conduct category segmentation projects
Conduct new bundles positioning tests.
Carry out new products development research (ideas, concept, product, pack, pricing, etc).
Conduct product optimization/ formulation research.
Maintain strong working relationship with relevant agencies.
Support commercial team in the integrated commercial planning process by providing insights from brand health studies, usage and attitude studies, etc.
Ensure accurate market projections for target forecasting.
Conduct retail audit.
Keep abreast of competitor information.
Carry out general market Intelligence.

Job Title: Financial Controller
Location: Nigeria
Reports to: Finance Director

Purpose of the Job

To gather, analyse and interprete operational data, market and customer indices, micro and macro environmental indices, financial information, industry trends and competitor data for effective business planning, management and investment decisions.
Job Accountabilities/Key Responsibilities

Tracks corporate and financial performance indicators, reports variations and proposes remedial actions.
Recommends improvements to management reports and formats including responsibilities, recipients and frequency of preparation.
Evaluates business/project proposals with comprehensive analysis of monetary impact on business.
Reviews, benchmarks and updates defined operational and financial parameters/performance indicators against which corporate and functional performances will be measured on an ongoing basis.
Reviews new policies, regulations, International Financial Reporting standards (IFRS) and projecting the effects that the same could have on the company and its investments.
Reviews analysis of information on production costs, test that all associated costs are captured/allocated and identify trends for the purpose of financial planning and cost analysis.
Identifies long-term financial implications of intended corporate projects/initiatives and advise management.
Reviews performance indices for the Group’s products and perform trend analyses of the various performance indices to provide management with information for strategic decision making.
Prepares monthly business review report for the Managing Director.
Person Specification/Job Requirements

A first degree or its equivalent in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or Economics.
5+years’ experience in a managerial accounting position.
Reputable manufacturing company with recognized professional accounting qualification (ACA, CPA, ACCA)

Very good knowledge of business and financial modelling.
Very good knowledge of business operations and strategy including cost components, business processes.
