Though gas supply to the power plants has improved following the restoration of the Escravos-Lagos Gas Pipeline System, about 2,326.3 megawatts of available power generation capacity is still not utilised due to constraints in the gas supply chain. Power generation statistics obtained by our correspondent on Tuesday revealed that the available installed capacity as of Sunday, February 9, 2014 was 6,972.5MW, while the peak generation stood at 4,064.1MW, and the off-peak generation was 3,341.2MW. Last week, power generation revolved around 3,500MW from the 6,668.6MW available capacity due largely to gas shortage. The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation blamed inadequate gas supply to the power plants on increased pipeline vandalism and sabotage. The Group Managing Director, NNPC, Mr. Andrew Yakubu, had said over 30 per cent of the installed gas supply capacity was shut out as a result of vandalism. He added that the lost gas was equivalent to what was required to generate about 1,600MW of electricity. After weeks of gas-induced power outages, the Escravos-Lagos Gas Pipeline System was restored and the acting Group General Manager, Group Public Affairs Division, NNPC, Dr. Omar Farouk, said about 200 million cubic feet per day of gas would be re- injected into the power generation system as a result. According to him, the repair of the ELPS will enable the NNPC to inject about 430 mmcf/d of gas into the national gas grid for the generation of about 1,505MW of electricity daily. In spite of this, our correspondent learnt that 2,326.3MW of the available generation capacity had been unutilised across 10 power stations in the country due to gas constraint. With an installed available capacity of 1,000MW, the Egbin Power Plant was on Sunday down to 915MW, losing 85MW due to low gas pressure. The Sapele National Integrated Power Project plant and the Olorunsogo NIPP plant with 360MW and 480MW installed available capacity, respectively, were down to zero generation on Sunday. The National Control Centre, Osogbo, Osun State, said two of Sapele’s units were out due to high condensate in gas, while the two others were down due to other reasons. The GT1-3 and ST1 at the Olorunsogo plant were also said to be out due to gas constraints. Similarly, the NCC said the Geregu plant, with an installed capacity of 435MW, could only generate 90MW, losing 345MW to gas constraint. The Omotosho plant has an installed capacity of 480MW but could only generate 110.2MW on Sunday, losing 369.8MW as a result of gas constraint. The Ihovbor, Geregu, Olorunsogo and Omotosho power plants lost 133MW, 294MW, 57.2MW and 69.6MW on Sunday due also to gas constraint. The AES Barges power plant could only generate 107.3MW from its installed capacity of 240MW on Sunday because four of its units were out due to gas constraint. About 80 per cent of the power plants in the country are gas-fired, but pipeline vandalism has continued to frustrate regular supply of gas to them. But the NNPC promised improved gas supply to the power plants following the completion of repair works on some of the pipelines.

Omobola Johnson, Nigeria’s communication technology minister. CC image courtesy of the World Economic Forum, on Flickr. Nigeria may place a ban on the sale of new SIM cards by telecoms companies as a way of compelling the networks to increase their investment in improving the quality of the services by halting the soaring numbers of telecoms subscribers in Nigeria. “We’re not satisfied at all,” Omobola Johnson, communication technology minister, told Bloomberg in an interview. “Fines are just a slap on the wrist. We need to change behavior.” She said a ban on signing new customers may force the companies to focus on improving infrastructure and quality of service for existing phone users. The ban is an additional measure that is being considered in addition to repeated fines that are slammed on the telecoms companies, including MTN, 9mobile and Airtel. The NCC last year fined the country’s four major operators US$7.5 million after they failed to meet the minimum Quality of Service (QoS) parameters issued by the regulator for the months of March and April 2012. “We take customer experience very seriously and have worked assiduously over the last 18 months to ensure we not only meet but surpass set quality of service measures,” Chineze Amanfo, a Lagos-based spokeswoman for 9mobile, told Bloomberg via email. “There are challenges that make this difficult in certain parts of the country where access or damage to telecommunications facilities remain a challenge.”

Nigeria’s Aviation Minister, Stella Oduah, has been fired by President Goodluck Jonathan. Ms. Oduah has been caught in a web of certificate scandals and a scandalous purchase of two BMW armored cars for $1.6 million. Both scandals were exposed by Saharareporters. Jonathan-Stella Oduah Our correspondent reported that Ms. Oduah and three other ministers within the Jonathan govt were relieved of their positions on the orders of Mr. Jonathan. However, their sack was passed off as voluntary resignation from the cabinet. The other ministers sacked includes, the minister of the Niger Delta, Godsday Orubebe, minister of police affairs, Chris Olukolade and the minister of state for Finance, Yerima Ngama Late last year, we reported that Ms. Oduah had compelled the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) to pay Coscharis Motors, an auto dealer, approximately $1.6 million for two BMW bullet-proof cars. Investigations by us showed that the highest cost for each such car in both the US and UK was $ 267,000 per car. NCAA and other sources further disclosed that the two cars were never delivered, compounding a scam by Ms. Oduah who reportedly split the $1.6 million funds with Cosmas Maduka, the chief executive of Coscharis. More recently, SaharaReporters discovered that the former Aviation Minister did not earn a Masters degree she claimed to have received from a US college.

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has accused the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) of using public funds to lure back some of the federal lawmakers who defected from the ruling party to theapc . The apc condemned the strategy as political horse trading carried too far. In a statement issued in Lagos on Tuesday, the APC’s interim National Publicity Secretary, Lai Mohammed, said thepdp had, in a show of desperation, rolled out a mouth-watering enticement package that promises two million US dollars to each senator who returns to thepdp and one million dollars to each member of the House of Representatives . In addition, he said the PDP was offering $10 million to each “leader” who abandons the APC and returns to the PDP . The statement alleged that the price tag for the federal legislators from Rivers State was even higher, at five million dollars each. Even so, the APC spokesman said there was no cause for alarm, asserting that no amount of inducement would stop the change on the horizon since, according to Mr. Mohammed, the long-suffering people of Nigeria were ready and eager to vote out thePDP in next year’s elections. The APC described the five members of the House of Representatives who reportedly took the killer bait and returned to the PDP as dirty traitors, adding that when they defected to the APC, they were neither forced to do so nor given any incentive beyond the rare opportunity offered them to be a part of the loomingchange . Mr. Mohammed said he hoped the double defectors would declare the blood money they collected from thePDP to those who voted them into office, challenging them to pretend to be democratic by sharing the money with voters. “Nigerians can now see why their country has gone broke; why the allocation to states from the Federation Account has continued to dwindle, and why infrastructures have either remained decrepit or non-existent. It is not difficult to imagine the number of bore holes that 10 million dollars can sink, or how far such a huge amount will go in building cottage hospitals and health clinics,” theAPC stated. apc vs pdp The party added, “Things are bound to get worse in the days ahead because the desperatePDP will, more and more, use public funds to try to change the course of history. We therefore urge Nigerians to remain resolute in the face of what will be a wave of inducements never before seen in these climes, because there is no going back on the plan to vote out thePDP next year and save Nigeria from a rapacious and inept leadership.” in

Relationship is one of the many ways which we stay connected with one another. It can be easily built or takes certain years to be built depending on its type. There are several kinds of relationship that most people establish. It could be friendship, marital, business or associated with one's place of worship or recreational centres. Although, where you meet a person may have little or great effect on the relationship, but the larger effectis on what platform the relationship is built on. Regardless of how you initiate your relationship, there is always a motive or platform to which it was built. Hence, that thing that defines how you behave or determines the reason why you behave that way, is said to be the foundation of your relationship. For instance, if what led you to start a relationship or the reason why it exist is based on the gift you frequently receive, then the foundation of your relationship is founded on material benefits. I will talk more on that latter. A foundation is a part of a building which bears all the weight of the building both dead (the building weight), imposed and wind load. It determines the strength of the building. However, in the case of a relationship, its foundation is the platform on which the parties involved build their relationship on. There are several platforms on which relationship can be built. The foundation of a relationship has lots to do with how the relationship would fare when it faces some challenges. However, if the foundation is not strong enough, it will easily fall apart like a building that was built on the sand. #1 - DECEPTION It is often said or generalized by certain sect ofpeople that the female folks loves deceit. Although, this may be true but it has a negative effect on the relationship. Deceit is misleading a person or giving a false information about yourself to your partner. Any relationship built on lies cannot stand the test of time when it is exposed to the light of reality. It would also lead to the breach of trust when the other party discovers. Hence, not only will the relationship crumble but the victim is emotionally wounded and may find it difficult to trust anyone again. #2 - MONEY It is good to have money and the things money can buy but it become an issue when it defines the existence of a relationship. A lot of relationship that was built on money fails when there's little or no money in supply. There should be a limit to how it is used especially when you are unmarried. Using money to buy affection or love does not make up for a good relationship. In fact it will not help you to know how much your partner loves you. #3 - LUST Many people confuse love with lust. Love develops over a period of time. It doesn't occur at first sight or evolve suddenly. It grows with commitment and the willingness to improve the welfare of the person you love. However, lust is a strong desire that comes us suddenly because of a particular thing you admire in your partner. It is the mother of infatuation. Any relationship built on this platform will fail because lust can never stand the test of time. It fades quickly after the desire has been granted. #4 - FEELINGS Many relationship are built on feelings. Feelings comes into play as a result of shared intimacy or the closeness that occurred between two people. When you engage in activities together for a period of time, there is every tendency for you to build up feelings for the other person. You begin to think more often, create fantasies or wild dreams about the person. The human mind works like a magnet. When you bring a magnet close to a metal, there is anattraction. Such is the case of feelings that creates affection. A relationship built on feelingswould fail when the feelings cease to exist. Relationship cannot thrive longer on the platform of feelings because it is temporal. #5 - SEX I know that many relationships today are created on the basis of sexual benefits. Only a tiny fraction of relationships can survive without sex for a long period of time before marriage.Have you seen any relationship that was established on the platform of sex that survives or leads to marriage? Maybe one out of fifty. Love is not sex and sex is not love. Many people mix up an expression of love with the art of lovemaking. *Related articles: 8 Things You Will Not Be Told About Sex 6Reasons Why Some Men/Women Wants Sex Before Marriage Relationship built on sex does not last because; sex does not make a partner committed, it does not reveal the true test of love, it creates depression and guilt, it creates soul ties and the transfer of STD, it is not a means of expressing love and it contradicts God's command. Sex is ONLY meant for married couples alone. #6 - LOVE One of the misunderstood things in life is love. Most people think they know what it entails and need not to be enlightened about it before they venture into practicing it. Some base their love on feelings, emotions or on certain conditions and then build their relationship on it. All of these cannot sustain relationship in the long run. Any ground other than decision, responsibility, commitment and sacrifice to what love is, will fail. Love does not cease but feelings does. It does not change but emotions does and it is unconditional. * Related article: 5 Lies About Love Which You Must Not Believe #7 - THE FEAR OF GOD Yes! The fear of God! Does it sound irrelevant? You may say what has this got to do with the foundation of a relationship. Do you know that love is not enough to make a relationship successful? Love is good but when certain situation comes, such as temptation, pressure, influence or the need to cheat on one's partner; it takes the fear of God to achieve this. A relationship that is 100% secured or that can weather through any storm is one that is built on the fear of God. The fear of God is a guide that prevents one from doing evil, becoming ignorant or acting is foolishness. Love can fall into temptation but it takes the fear of God not to yield. The kind of finishes that is applied to a building is not as important as the foundation that supports the building. If the foundationis bad, how can the building stand? Having this in mind, the foundation of your relationship determines the duration of your relationship and its success. Foundations like deception, feelings, money, sex, love or lust cannot give you a successful relationship. Deception will fail when it is exposed to reality. Feelings will cease, money may stop, sexual desire will fade, lust is temporal but the love that is built on the fear of God is the best ground for a successful relationship. What other things do people build their relationships on? Freely share your views.

There are two sides to love that most people don't understand and these has affected many relationships. When a thing that involves emotion, such as love is not handled properly, it will have a devastating effect on the life and relationship of whoever practices it wrongly. Most people do not know this. They only think love is a feeling, or based on conditions or an emotional bonding between two people. There are some things that needs to be done or known at some certain stage of the human life. For instance, it is harmful for a five month old baby to start learning how to walk. He needs to master the art of crawling before he can learn to walk. The same applies to the way we practice love these days. Love is two dimensional. It can either be expressed or practiced as an art (lovemaking). Many teenagers or adults mix up these two dimensional forms of love. For instance, a guy that sees sex as an experiment, will tell his girlfriend to prove love to him. He did not demand for the expression of love but lovemaking. However, some ladies might think that the expression of love is in lovemaking. This is wrong and the major reasons why many a relationship fails, end in heart break or causes emotional trauma. The Expressive Side Of Love Love can be expressed in words or actions. For the unmarried, it is best that they understand this concept of love and not mistaken it for lovemaking. If a guy tells you to prove love to him by giving him sex, he only wants to make love with you. The female folks needs to be wise at this junction. Never make love to someone that you are not legally married to. This is premarital sex and it will cost you lots of things. For singles, the best way to express love is to be committed and sacrifice some things for the welfare of who you love. This will not cost you much even if the relationship fails. But if you involve lovemaking as a means of expressing love when you are not married, it will lead to regrets and does not guarantee that the relationship will last long. Do notfall in love when you are not ready for it. To love is a decision and a responsibility that needs to be fulfilled. It will demand you your time, effort, resources andemotional stability. The expressive nature of love requires communication, commitment and the determination to stay faithful to that special person. Liking a person does not involve commitment but love does. A true expression of love is not abusive, violent or victimizing. A person that truly loves you will not vent his/her anger on you. Love is gentle and kind. If he/she expresses love to you by spanking, beating or slapping you; then you are in for aggression and not love. Lovemaking: The Wrong/Right Expression of Love Lovemaking involves sexual intercourse and this is meant to be carried out by married couples only. Though some may frown at this, but it does not change how God wants it to be done or make it invalid. It is just the truth! Having sex before and outside marriage brings regrettable consequences, but making love in marriage has no consequences. This is how God wants it. When singles make love, they call it fun or an experiment they need to gather before marriage. This is a wrong expression of love for single men and ladies. It is wrong because it will lead to STDs, unwanted pregnancy, create soul ties, depression, guilt, heart break, condemnation and other unforgettable consequences. The practice of love to the married involves an expression of it in terms of showing commitment towards each other and lovemaking as an art. But singles are only allowed to express love and not make love. If you are in a relationship or you are about to start one; there are two sides to the practice of love which you must know. Don't confuse an expression of love for lovemaking. You may be told to prove your love, but let it be done through showing concern, commitment or sacrifice for the one you love, if need be. Do not be misled to use your body (sex) as a means of expressing love. Lovemaking is only an art that is meant for married couples. Singles can express love through commitment not through having sex. It doesn't cost much this way. Remember, the consequences of lovemaking (having sex) before and outside marriage outlives the fun that people derive from it. What other areas can love be expressed other than through lovemaking? Kindly share your opinions.

That men find it difficult to sleep with only one woman for a long time is a known fact and this explains why in the days of old the men, even those celebrated and respected ones, have several wives and concubines. But these days, women say it's 50/50. It's a serious battle. A Deputy Director with the State Security Service in Oyo State, Edward Magaji, has dragged his beautiful wife to court for trying to stop his "enjoyment". The SSS director told the court that his wife had been a pain in the neck since he assisted his girlfriend, Miss Natasha Aminu Danbaba, a nurse with Specialist Hospital, Yola, with some token to buy a car, adding that his wife had been terrorizing his girlfriend, calling her all sorts of names to the extent of going to her work place to fight her. He added that his wife committed the action in his presence while he was in Natasha’s house and engaged them in a fight resulting to the breaking of the car’s windscreen. Edward Magaji filed the complaint against his wife in a Magistrate court sitting in Yola, capital of Adamawa. When the counsel to the wife, Barrister Binanu Eston asked Mr Magaji to define the relationship between him and the girlfriend, Mr Magaji simply said he was tired of his wife and could not answer such a question as he has since dumped her due to her many troubles. The wife has four children, but Magaji said her wahala his too much, hence he is no longer interested in her. sss scandal

The Officer defrauded Miss Veronica of N9 million after he had a fake wedding with her. chukwu and veronica Veronica claimed that Chukwu converted the proceeds from the sale of vehicles and other imported items she asked him to sell on her behalf to his personal use. In her petition, Veronica narrated thus: “When I returned to Nigeria on vacation sometime in 2010, a member of my staff stole one of my trucks worth N3.8 million. I was introduced to Chukwu who was then attached to the Special Fraud Unit, SFU of the Nigeria Police in Ikoyi, Lagos to handle the case. One of this is Opt-in email marketing, also known as permission marketing. Opt-in marketing requires the permission of a willing customer to subscribe to your marketing materials, materials that take form in newsletters, catalogs and promotional mailings via e-mail. The more opt-in marketing mail is sent, the more chances there is to bag sales and more sales. To do this, you must build a list of all those who wants to subscribe to your opt-in marketing list. From your list, you will get your targeted customer, this is a good list since they already have shown interest in what you have to show and sell since they have willingly signed in for your list. These are the people who have liked what they have seen in your site and have decided they want to see more and maybe even purchase what ever product or service your company and site has to offer. Many people would think that building their lists would take hard work and a lot of time to build and collect names and addresses. This is not so, it takes a bit of patience and some strategies but in doing this list, you open your site and your business to a whole new world of target market. Take the effort to take your business to a new level, if traffic increase and good profits are what you want, an opt-in list will do wonders for your business venture. There are many sources and articles in the internet available for everyone to read and follow in building a list. Sometimes they may be confusing because there are so many and there different ways. Different groups of people would have different approaches in building an opt-in list, but no matter how diverse many methods are, there are always some crucial things to do to build your list. Here are four of them. 1) Put up a good web form in your site that immediately follows the end of your content. While some may say this is too soon to subscribe for a website visitors application, try to remember that your homepage should provide a quick good impression. If somehow a website visitor finds something that he or she doesn’t like and turns them off, they may just forget about signing up. A good web form for subscribing to an opt-in list is not hard to do. Just write a simple short statement about how they would like to see more and get updated about the site. Then there should be an area where they could put in their names and e-mail address. This web form will automatically save and send you the data’s inputted. As more people sign in, your list will be growing. 2) As mentioned in the first tip, make your homepage very, very impressive. You need to have well written articles and descriptions of your site. Depending on what your site is all about, you need to capture your website visitor’s fancy. Make your site useful and very easy to use. Do not expect everyone to be tech savvy. Invest in having good programming in your site, make your graphics beautiful but don’t over do it. Don’t waste your time making the homepage too overly large megabyte wise. Not all people have dedicated T1 connections, the faster your site gets loaded, the better. Go for a look that borders between simplicity and sophisticated knowledge. 3) Provide good service and products. A return customer is more likely to bring in more business. Even then and now, a satisfied customer will recommend a business always. Word of mouth and recommendations alone can rake in more business than an expensive ad. As your clientele roster grows so shall your list. With more members on the list, the more people will get to know about what you have new to offer. 4) Keep a clean and private list. Never lose the trust your customers have entrusted you. If you provide e-mails to others and they get spammed, many will probably unsubscribe to you. Remember, a good reputation will drive in more traffic and subscribers as well as strengthen the loyalty of your customers.

Gifting something special to your guy on Valentine’s Day can be a little tricky. Guys are usually not so forthcoming or particular about what they want as gifts. But that does not mean they don’t love them. So what to get for them? Well, let us make your task easy by telling you about the gifts your guy secretly desires. Chocolates, roses or soft toys are a complete no-no; they only prove that you have not put too much thought into what to gift him. If you want to give him the perfect gift, get something which is really thoughtful. Here are few ideas for the perfect Valentine’s Day gift for your guy. 1. Sports memorabilia Is your boyfriend a sports freak? We know when it comes to guys you might feel this question should not be asked, but we still want you to think hard and answer. We want you to recollect what sport he actually likes and what teams or players are his favourites 2. You can gift him the sports memorabilia of his favourite team. His favourite team’s jersey or an autograph of his favourite player will definitely make him go over the moon. You can easily find sports memorabilia from various auction sites. So, start bidding in advance. If this is out of your reach, then you can gift him match tickets or an annual subscription to his favourite sports magazine. If nothing else works, it is easy to find a jersey or jacket with his favourite player’s number on it. 3. Perfume Guys love to be pampered just like girls. This is something we know they would never accept! So, gift him a high-end perfume that he has been lusting after for ages. Try to figure out his taste, the perfume notes he prefers, look for his favourite brand and make your choice accordingly. If you don’t like his choice of perfume then you gift him something that you think will make him smell good. Ask a buddy of his to tag along, so that he can help you make a good choice. 4. Gadgets Guys love gadgets and they secretly desire for them always. You don’t need to break your bank account by gifting your boyfriend a high priced gadget; you can give him something quirky and fun. A water-based alarm clock, a USB drive in the shape of his favourite super hero or a new set of stylish noise- cancelling headphones will definitely make him happy. You can also get some colourful Bluetooth speakers, to add a colourful spark to his room. 5. Fun things Try for things that are a little different and fun. Colourful shot glasses with crazy captions, stylish bottle openers and even stoppers, a Kamasutra card set, a Swiss knife, darts game or a poker chip set are some of the fun things which will make your guy’s face light up with delight. Well, such a gift would also show your man, what a “cool” girlfriend you are! 6. Chocolates By chocolates we don’t mean those gifts packs that are available in supermarkets. Your chocolates need to be a little hatke. After all, they are for the most hatke person in your life! Premium dark chocolates stuffed with paan, chilly or saunf can really tingle his taste buds. If your guy is not too adventurous with his food, you can gift the traditional chocolates with praline and nuts filling. 7. Dig into his likes This one depends on how well you really know your man. Think about what he likes, it can be something completely nerdy or totally luxurious. If comics are all that your man talks about, get hold of a vintage comic to surprise him this V- day. If he is obsessed with a music band or a movie character (does Rocky or Family Guy ring a bell?), gift him a graffiti tee with his favourite picture or a quote. And, if your sweetheart is into music, gift him a guitar or a set of drums or limited edition vinyl records that he has been saving up for. If your man is obsessed with his work, this is a perfect opportunity for you to get him a luxurious pen, which would remind him of you even when he is at work. High-end pens like Mont Blanc and Pierre Cardin can make any guy swoon. And, fountain pens are really fashionable and are symbolic of good taste and sophistication. 8. Homemade goodies If you really cannot afford to gift your guy something expensive, then whip up something for him at home. Show him that you can be a domestic goddess by making some chocolate chip cookies. Put them in a tin and write a cute note for him. You can also create personalised gift cards for him with ‘gifts’ such as giving him the TV remote for an hour, breakfast in bed, not making annoying noises when his favourite match is on, giving him a kiss whenever he demands and so on. He can redeem these gift cards whenever he likes and you can surprise him all through the year. This Valentine’s Day is going to be a pleasant surprise for your guy, we are sure. What have you decided to gift him? Share your ideas with us in the comments section below.

A man, Toby Sheldon, who is obsessed with pop brat Justin Bieber spent a staggering £60,000 on surgery in an effort to look like his hero. bieber_2 Sheldon, who has spent the past five years having surgery to make him look like the pop star, couldn’t be more pleased with the results. He admitted: “Once Justin shot to fame his face was everywhere and I all I kept thinking when I saw his picture was, ‘I want to look like him.” That plastic surgery includes face fillers, a chin reduction and eyelid surgery. Songwriter Toby admits to being addicted to surgery, telling TLC show My Strange “What I do with my money is I get surgery to look more like Justin Bieber.” Toby started losing his hair when he turned 23, and it was at this point that he decided to start having treatments, spending £5,000 on hair transplants. When Justin became a worldwide star at the tender age of 12, Toby, who has a fear of getting old, used him as an inspiration to change his own look. Despite fawning over the troubled pop star, Toby insists he’s not a fan of his music. He added: “I didn’t necessarily listen to his music or fawn over him as a celebrity, but his face was just so flawless every change I made was modeled after him.” The surgery fanatic has even had SMILE SURGERY in an attempt to emulate the boyish Justin look. Toby admitted: “The more I started studying Justin and young people in general it’s really their smile that gives them their youthful glow. “If you look closely, you’ll notice that when younger people just barely have their mouths open they naturally show their top teeth, giving them a sort of natural and effortless smile.” Despite the whopping amount he’s already spent, the addict said there is still more work to be done, including a nose job and jaw reduction. Delighted with his new look, Toby said: “Between our similar hairstyles, baby faced smile and overall youthful appearance I finally look like Justin Bieber and I couldn’t be happier about it.”

Every man wants a woman he can be proud of and with whom he can enjoy life with. Men have preference and are very selective whenever they are making their choice on who to marry. Some would go for physical features, potentials, maturity, financial prowess or a combination of these. On the contrary, some are constrained in their preference to exclude highly educated or rich ladies from their search. Why? Why is these an issue? A lady asked me in dismay? I thought within myself what the answers could be. I can only conclude that these men that are afraid of marrying these ladies are myopic in their view. Will you say your daughter or sister should not further her education or rise to the peak of her career if she wants for fear of being ostracized in the society? I'm not using this article to laud women but to open the eyes of some men. Isn't it a pride for you if your wife happens to be the CEO of a renowned bank or company? Men, there is a way you can treat 'your' woman that will make her blossom. Consider the quoted word. I will share that with you in one of my next post. After I made my observations about the reasons why some men do not want to marry the women that are better than them, I discovered the followings as their problem. LOW SELF ESTEEM One personality disorder that most people suffer is low self esteem, hence, men are not exempted from this. Low self esteem is rating yourself so low while comparing yourself with another person. If some men could be wise to know what a woman wants, you will not allow self esteem issue to belittle your real worth. Marriage is not about comparison. If it were to be, everybody will be looking out for their mate (with the same IQ, temperament, maturity or understanding) to marry. Men needs to change their perception about this kind of ladies if love is the drive for the relationship. LACK OF UNDERSTANDING When a thing is under-studied, it will be very difficult to handle it properly. One thing that has been discovered is that men in this category lack the understanding of how to deal with these kind of ladies. Apart from the fact that some of them could be disrespectful or proud, women can easily be handled if you deal with them in knowledge. What makes a man a player? His ability to deceitfully play with the life of a woman. But if a woman is well studied and understood properly, there is a way to love her and she will worship you irrespective of her achievements or status. FEAR A key factor that prevents men from marrying educated/rich ladies is fear. How will I cope with her? How can I fit into her life and status? Many 'how' are the questions most men ask themselves. If your main reason for marrying her is 'love', I mean true love; not for her money or status, I see no reason why you should be afraid of asking her hand in marriage. A lot of men are afraid because they felt they will be too expensive to manage. Money does not make a good marriage but genuine love and a handful of money. SOCIETAL BELIEF There are some things that lack an element of truth which most people do accept as true. Of such is that wealthy or educated ladies cannot make a good wife or better mothers. Men are the carrier of this belief, hence it is untrue. When a woman makes up her mind to be good, nothing can change that decision except she is treated harshly. Do not join the society to spread this unbiased belief about women. One thing I have realized is that God made a woman's affection to be directed towards a man. Hence it is understanding that will make a man identify what his wife needs. However, it is how knowledgeable a man is that will determine how he lives with her. Men needs to change their perception about the status of the woman they want to marry. If genuine love is the drive for the relationship, there's a way you can live with her that will make her respect you. However, some women lacks respect and are proud when they have more. If an educated/richer woman what comes your way, do not allow fear, societal belief, low self esteem or lack of understanding make you to loose her. Genuine love and patience is the secret to a woman's heart. Give her these and she will naturally respect and forever submit to your lordship regardless of her status. But be ready to treat her right. Moreover, you two must be meant for each other. You cannot expect a woman that does not love you or pretends to love you to make a good wife even if she's educated/rich. Awake the man in you. Don't be intimidated.

With Sony’s high-level exit from the PC business, it is basically turning down any device that operate on the Windows operating system, the standard Windows desktop computer OS, that is. First the problem. Sony CEO Kazuo Hirai did make it clear in Tokyo on Thursday that Microsoft Windows for PCs is not part of its future. “Windows gadgets will visit the new company,” he said, in a press conference that was largely mentioned in the Japanese media, referring to Japan Industrial Partners, the investment fund that will certainly take over Sony’s PC business. That declaration was part and parcel of Sony’s new mobile objective. “In the mobile arena, we decided that it is crucial now to concentrate on smartphones and tablets,” Hirai claimed. There was a qualifier. “Microsoft has numerous OSes, including mobile. As Sony, we will consider new gadget development going forward.” CEOs normally do not drop tips regarding future items unless they have a regarding future items unless they have a clear strategy in place. So, it appears that Sony is taking into consideration smartphone and tablets that would certainly run on an operating system like Windows Phone 8.
