Just recently, Kwesé TV signed a partnership agreement with the 9Mobile network to bring affordable, premium content to audiences in and around the nation, Nigeria.

Recall that, the company has earlier collaborated on the sale of Kwesé TV decoders through MTN stores across Nigeria, it was celebrated by MTN Nigeria through the launched of an amazing streaming data bundle that gives customers unlimited 24-hour streaming to all Kwesé iflix premium VIP content for N250 a day.

Now, we are expecting 9Mobile to jump on the bandwagon through the launching of dime a dozen data plans for Kwesé TV video streaming.

Airtel is fond of making PAYU / PayG a default plan when buying a new line. Even if you have an active data on the new line, they will still deduct from your airtime when browsing the internet.

I've experienced this sad situation not quite long, whereby I have an active data on my new Airtel line and they keep deducting from my airtime anytime I browse the internet.

Unlike other networks, they will tell you and even give you a code to dial if you wish to browse as PAYU anytime you exhaust your data bundle. That's the main reason I am writing this post now, as many people are facing such problem too.

How To Deactivate Airtel PAYU / PAYG Plan

It's quite simple to stop Airtel from deducting from your airtime when browsing. I'll be dropping two methods on how I achieved that. Kindly read along.

First Method

This method works if you don't have an active data on your line and you wish to stop Airtel PAYU.

What you have to do is to subscribe for any data plan. By doing so, you will be be opted out automatically from Airtel PAYU. Just dial *141# and choose your preferred data bundle.

You'll be asked what should happen when your bundle finishes, just reply with 1, which is Stop My Data.

Second Method

This method works for everyone. If you have an active data on your line and Airtel keeps deducting from your airtime balance, that means you are on PAYU plan. This method will work for you.

What you have to do is to dial *400*1#. You'll get a response saying "You have been unsubscribed from Airtel FREE SURF offer".

That's all. You have successfully opted out of Airtel PAYU plan. You can dial *400# if you wish to go back to Airtel PAYU and continue browsing from your airtime balance.

Some candidates of the National Examination Council (NECO), who could not write some papers due to the recent killings in Plateau state have pleaded with the council to re-conduct the examinations.

The candidates, who according to NAN are taking shelter in Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) camps in the state on Thursday, July 19, 2018, said that the attacks prevented them from writing the NECO Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) and the Senior Secondary Certificate Examination (SSCE).

Students In IDP Camp Want NECO To Re-conduct Exam For Them
SONY DSC
According to NAN, a BECE candidate, 14 years old Ezra Danjuma said he missed three papers because his school, Government Secondary School, Exland in Barkin Ladi Local Government Area was among the schools closed down because of the recent attacks.

“I registered for 10 subjects but could not write three papers because we had to runway from our community when the Fulani herdsmen attacked us, my father was killed in the process,“ he said.

Ezra, the second child of five children said that he paid N3,500 for the exams and expressed worry that his mother might not be able to finance the exams as a widow, in addition to the school fees of his other four siblings.

NAN also reports that 11 SSCE candidates at the Church of Christ in Nations (COCIN) IDP camp in Heipang, Barkin Ladi pleaded with the examination body to re-conduct the papers as they did not write all the papers they registered for.

Bayat Yohana, a 16-year-old candidate said many of his classmates have lost a parent or both in the attacks and did not have the resources to re-register for the exams next year, “we paid N34, 000 for the exams, most of us cannot pay again next year,“ he said.

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board has directed all institutions to update their list of candidates from the Central Admission Processing System (CAPS) to ensure that all candidates who recently made changes on their choice of institutions are captured so as to enable such candidates register for the Post-UTME screening exercise of the schools they changed to.

This call was made by the JAMB’s Head of media, Dr.Fabian Benjamin during an interview with newsmen in Abuja.

JAMB Directs Institutions To Update Post-UTME Candidates' List
According to him, the call became necessary following complaints from candidates who made changes but could not register for the 2018 post-UTME in the new institutions they chose because their details did not reflect on the portal of the institutions.

He mentioned that many institutions are still holding unto the list that was made available to them before the policy meeting in June and had since not updated the list to reflect the changes that have been made by candidates which is the reason such candidates are not able to register for the Post-UTME.

He noted that candidates have the right to change the institutions of their choice at any time except where the institution the candidate wants to change to has requested that the board block its page to enable it prepare for the conduct of its Post-UTME because if not checkmated that way, some candidates may still make changes in the morning of the screening exercise or even during the conduct thereby constituting serious challenges to managing the exercise.

Cristiano Ronaldo may be entering the latter stages of his career, but his popularity remains extremely high.

Ronaldo completed his move to Juventus from Real Madrid for a total of £100million and his post confirming the deal is the fifth most liked Instagram picture of all time.

The post, which shows Ronaldo in a Juventus shirt and is accompanied by the caption: 'Forza Juve #FinoAllaFine', has had over 11.3million likes.

Ronaldo is extremely popular on social media, as demonstrated by the fact that he has a staggering 136million followers on Instagram.

This isn't Ronaldo's only entry in the top five, as his post regarding the birth of his daughter Alana Martina had more than 11.4million likes.

In third place is singer Justin Bieber, who got 12.7million likes when he confirmed his engagement to Hailey Baldwin.

Reality star Kylie Jenner is second with a post about her daughter Stormi getting 13million. She is also top of the list as a post shortly after Stormi's birth received 17.9million likes.

As far as football is concerned, though, it is clear that Ronaldo is the most popular player on Instagram and his amount of followers will surely continue to grow if he can inspire Juventus to glory.

A man who has had 90% of his body covered in black ink has now decided to have his genitals removed.

Adam Curlykale, 32, from Kaliningrad in Russia, decided to start tattooing his body, including his eyeballs, with black ink after he was diagnosed with cancer 12 years ago.

The 32-year-old, who also has albinism, says he started tattooing himself because he felt depressed by his pale skin.

And after getting almost 90% of his body covered, Adam felt that his **** ruined his look so he paid to undergo the extreme surgery.

He has now shared pictures with his fans on social media after having his ****, nipples and testicles removed.

Adam became famous in 2017 after taking part in the TV show ‘Second Face’ in Poland where he said he wanted the tattoos to cover the blemishes that were left behind by the cancer.

He eventually beat the cancer but while in recovery he had been left with a weakened immune system and was depressed by this and the fact that his skin looked sickly and pale.

When doctors diagnosed him with albinism, he had started adding tattoos, and discovered a passion for the art once he saw the results.

He said: ‘I always knew that I was different from the rest of society. My favourite colour for example has always have been grey, in different tones, and that’s why my current skin colour is graphite.’ OKAY!
