The National Industrial Court of Nigeria has banned the organised labour, comprising the Nigerian Labour Congress (NLC) and the Trade Union Congress (TUC) from embarking on its indefinite strike scheduled to commence on November 6.

The presiding judge, Justice Sanusi Kado, on Friday, gave the order in a ruling on an ex parte application moved on behalf of the Federal Government by the Solicitor-General of the Federation and Permanent Secretary, Federal Ministry of Justice, Mr. Dayo Apata.

Speaking in agreement with Apata, the judge held that if the strike is allowed it would lead to huge economic loss to both public and private institutions and could jeopardise the health of many Nigerians who would not be able to access health facilities during the period.

The judge further restrained the NLC, the TUC and the Incorporated Trustees of the Nigerian Governors Forum (listed as the first, second, and third defendants) from taking steps capable of destroying the subject of the dispute.

The hearing of the main suit has been fixed for November 8.

Bear in mind that the organised labour had threatened to commence an indefinite strike action to press for the increase in the national minimum wage from the current N18,000.

The unions, which had initially demanded for N56,000 as the new minimum wage, now reduced it to N30,000, while the federal government and state governments are offering N24,000 and N20,000, respectively.

Details later…

A relationship may last for months, a year, five, 10 years or more before leading to exchange of vows and on the other hand, it may hit the rocks before getting to that point.

Before a relationship experiences a nosedive, there are some obvious pointers often overlooked.

Here are some clues to know if your serious relationship might be on the brink of failure.

1. No communication

No relationship thrives without communication. Communication is in two parts; how often you talk, chat or see each other, and how well you communicate. George Bernard Shaw writes: “The single biggest problem in communication is the illusion that it has taken place.”

Communication has been made a lot easier with the advent of technological inventions and no excuse can suffice for lack of communication.

It’s through communication that humans express their emotions. It, therefore, follows that a communication gap is an indication of a failing relationship.

2. No talk about future plans

At a candlelight dinner with a romantic ambience, amidst all the sweet romantic talks, a discussion about future plans is one way to know if your relationship is making headway.

When your partner avoids or frowns at the mention of future plans together, then it’s likely you are both not on the same page.

3. Lack of respect

Respect is the core of every human relationship and your partner cannot claim to love you and not respect you.

Lack of respect is easy to notice as it manifests in different ways; your partner makes decisions without considering how it may affect you or never considers your preferences.

If he ignores your calls, messages or abuses you verbally or otherwise, then you simply need to walk out of that relationship.

4. Disappearing at challenging times

A key component of a healthy relationship is the ability to give and accept support. Only true partners are there in good times as well as bad times.

If your relationship hibernates at every challenge that pops up and if your partner cannot trust you enough to assist with personal challenges, that’s a red flag that needs attention.

5. Stashing

This may seem pretty insignificant but when the person you’re seeing shies away from introducing you to family and friends, then there’s a likelihood of a failure in the relationship.

A medical expert, Ms Maymuna Abubakar, has advised women against using “push up brassieres”  so as to relax the muscles of their breasts for a healthy living.

Abubakar, an Assistant Director, Nursing Services, Abubakar Tafawa Balewa Teaching Hospital, Bauchi, gave the advice while speaking with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Friday.

According to her, relaxing breasts muscles will prevent various ailments which could affect the breast.

She advised women to avoid using tight and trending brassieres which she referred to as ‘push ups’.

“The muscles of the breast need to rest. So, women and young girls should please allow their breasts to rest when at home.

“We should also clean the breast region thoroughly and regularly.

“We should endeavour to change our brassieres regularly and avoid sleeping while still wearing them,” she said.

Victor Moses

Chelsea Manager, Mauricio Sarri has told former Nigerian international, Victor Moses that he is not in his plans and therefore should be ready to leave.

Moses was a super regular in Chelsea’s line up during Antonio Conte’s reign, but since Sarri took over in Stamford Bridge, the Super Eagles former star has made only one appearance on the team.

On Wednesday when Sarri named a largely second team in the Carabao Cup clash with Derby County, Moses was not even in the matchday squad prompting questions on his continued stay with the London side.

Footballlive.ng quotes the Italian as saying last night that Moses has not been in his squad only because he does not know where the 27-year-old Nigerian can fit in.

Dramatically, Chelsea youth team graduates, Calum Hudson Odoi and Ruben Loftus-Cheeks are now ahead of Moses, thereby raising strong permutations that the ex-Super Eagles star is bound to leave Stamford Bridge in January.

Reports rom London said Sarri has already held clear-the-air talks with Moses and told the star he is not in plans for the team, hence his absence on Wednesday.

Moses has made only one start this season and was a surprise omission from the squad against Derby, despite training with the team the previous day.

However, additional information reveals that his former coach at Chelsea, Jose Mourinho, who is now in charge at Manchester United, is on the hunt for Moses.

Mourinho actually needs a new striker, as both Romelu Lukaku and Marcus Rashford have not totally convinced this season with only five goals between them in 24 competitive games, but Moses could fit in.

The three attack-minded players being considered by the old Trafford outfit are Moses, Eintracht Frankfurt’s Croatia star Ante Rebic and AS Roma’s Cengiz ünder.

After joining Chelsea in August 2012, Moses was farmed out on loan to Liverpool, Stoke City and West Ham United before the arrival of The Blues’ former manager, Antonio Conte.

The 27-year-old winger, who has a contract with Chelsea until June 30, 2021, found his range under Conte, but things have gone back to his ugly early days at Stamford Bridge, and he is heading out again.

At long last, it's now official that Whatsapp will start displaying ads in Status section of the app. After about a year of rumors, Whatsapp Vice President - Chris Daniels - has confirmed that the days of ad-free Whatsapp is numbered.

Chris Daniels went ahead to tell Outlook India that they are going to be putting ads in Whatsapp Status. And it will be the primary monetisation mode for the company as well as an opportunity for businesses to reach people on WhatsApp

The Status feature on WhatsApp is like Instagram Stories or Facebook My Day, which disappears after 24hrs. Users can add pictures, videos, gifs to their Whatsapp status that disappears 24 hours after posting.

Recall when Whatsapp was planning on yearly $1 fee? Users didn't welcome the idea which now led to putting ads in Status, as a monetization mode for the company.

However, the decision has been made. Though Chris Daniels didn't give a date on when the ads will appear. But reports suggested that targeted ads will arrive on the platform beginning in 2019.

Religion and Philosophy / Daddy freeze condemns the name Jesus
« on: November 01, 2018, 04:57:44 pm »
Daddy Freeze, Controversial Nigerian On Air Personality and online preacher,  has said that 99% of what our Pastors and GOs taught us is false, as he reveals yet another controversy in his teachings.

Daddy freeze condemns the name Jesus

From what he said , the word ‘Jesus’ has no meaning and was invented by manipulators who aligned his birthday with Nimrod’s and the pagan ‘solstice of the sun’

99% of what your Pastors and GOs taught you is false!

How can his name be ‘Jesus’ when the letter ‘j’ was not part of the English language until 1634? Here is a copy of the original translation of the King James Bible completed in 1611.

How can his name be Jesus when the Hebrew alphabet doesn’t have a ‘j’ sounding letter?

The name ‘Jesus’ is less that 400 years old, how can it aptly depict a savior that resurrected 2,018 years ago?

Yeshua is Hebrew remember? So why does he have a Latin name?
◄ Hebrews 7:14 ►
New International Version
For it is clear that our Lord descended from Judah,
◄ John 4:22 ►
New International Version
You Samaritans worship what you do not know; we worship what we do know, for salvation is from the Jews.

If salvation is from the Jews, why do we have a Latin Jesus, but obey the law of moses and pay tithe like the Jews?

The names ‘Joshua’ and ‘Jesus’ are exactly the same word in Hebrew and Greek, the Bible’s first languages, the names were separated in Latin…. why?

Be careful of what name you call… The name ‘Jesus’ was invented, Yahweh had a son called Yeshua, which means salvation! the name Jesus has no meaning, it’s an invention!

Yeshua is our Saviour, while ‘Jesus’ was invented by manipulators, who aligned his birthday with Nimrod’s and the pagan ‘solstice of the sun’.

Yeshua said you can only worship him in truth and in spirit (John4), if you don’t know the truth, you end up worshiping a pagan invention. ~FRZ

A drama ensued this morning in Awka, the capital city of Anambra state after a thief was caught in the act.

According to reports, the young man who is notorious for stealing fuel/diesel from peoples’ vehicles – was “mysteriously” trapped in the course of the latest operation.

It was alleged by the residents of the area that the thief was trapped by a ‘juju’ placed by the owner of a vehicle he was stealing from.

While others have attributed the incident to the alleged charm/’juju’, others have argued that the thief got trapped after inserting his hand deep into the fuel tank.

Ramsey has found himself on the bench, but is now on the way out at Arsenal

Aaron Ramsey will not be offered a new deal by Arsenal and will therefore leave the club in the summer for free, according to reports.

Speculation about the 27-year-old’s current deal has intensified in recent weeks, with Unai Emery reportedly unhappy with the Wales international.

The lack of clarity was reportedly unsettling Ramsey, who has been in and out of the team after a falling out with Emery at the start of the season before the Chelsea game.

However, according to Sky Sports News, the north Londoners have officially informed the midfielder he will not be getting a new deal whatsoever.

The club did offer a deal with new terms, but it is understood the offer was withdrawn soon after. Manchester United and Liverpool have been sniffing around as a result.

Ramsey recently spoke out about his contract situation, saying: “Hopefully somebody will come up and tell me why.

The Spaniard has not always seen eye-to-eye with the midfielder in his short time at the club

“I’ll accept that if there’s a reason.

“When the time is right, I probably will find out but that hasn’t happened yet.

“There is no contract on the table at the moment so there is nothing for me to consider or whatever.

Linda Ikeji and Kemi Olunloyo

Kemi Olunloyo popularly regarded as Madam KOO has teased Linda Ikeji with her Halloween costume which was a moonbump.

According to her, it was the same costume, 38-year old mother of one, Linda Ikeji wore for 9 months to hoodwink the public into believing she is pregnant for a faceless man.

This isn’t the first time Madam KOO is making such allegations against Linda Ikeji who has denied faking her pregnancy.

"Good Morning Africa!

#HappyHalloween

Don’t believe all the "evil crap" you hear about it. It’s all for fun and even rakes in $9B in 🇺🇸 alone. I love dressing in costumes! This year I’m dressed as "pregnant" Linda Ikeji wearing 3 moonbump sizes deceiving her gullible #SBNI fans. You too can wear this costume for only £290. Fool your gullible friends, in-laws calling u barren with a fake silicone baby bump. I’m wearing 5-6mos, 7-8mos & 8-9 mos in the pics.

Finally in the video this morning, my 7-8 mos pregnancy moonbump is about to fall off They are actually lightweight but has to be fastened well. I drew some spots with thick brown eye pencil and the linea nigra stomach line. I’m 54yo and my last kid will be 18yo. I HATE that line! Today I can draw it with a moonbump. We Nigerians🇳🇬 are gullible people

#HappyHalloween," Madam KOO wrote on her social media accounts and she also shared pictures to drive home her point.

This action of hers has caused a huge debate online about the authenticity of Linda Ikeji’s pregnancy which has developed into a baby boy.
