New Airtel Night Plans N25 For 500mb & N50 For 1.5GB

Anyone noticed the airtel night plan, there have been some modifications today and these brand new adjustment doesn’t seem to go down well with me.

Without fear, conscience and concern, Airtel have chosen to follow the footsteps of MTN night packages, thereby, making it extremelydifficult for us to source for alternative for unlimiteddownload. This is indeed a great deal because Airtel have truly added to the few economic problems we’ve been going through in Nigeria lately.

What’s all this story sef??? No more Airtel unlimited hourly plan, yes NO MORE!!! Like I said, Airtel has followed MTN in reducing its nightplan to N25 & N50 respectively. No more 1hr for N100 and 2hrs for N200 that allows you to browse & download unlimitedly.

NEW AIRTEL NIGHT PLANS ON SMARTTRYBE
The Airtel night plans now comes in two different packages…
N25 For 500MB | 12am – 5amN50 For 1.5GB | 12am – 5am To subscribe; Dial *312# » type 3 » choose plan.
This plan can be renewed if exhausted, it means, you can resub after using up the first 1.5GB. In essence, you can use 3GB for N100 in just one night.

Take Note : This plan is exclusively
for SmartTRYBE users on Airtel. To join, dial *312# and follow the prompt thereafter.
It also appeared the weekend plans was also altered on Trybeprepaid users...

AIRTEL UNLIMITED NIGHT PLAN FOR N1000
However, Airtel still have an unlimitedplan for Night browsing but this plan seem to be too expensive for an ordinary man. Perhaps, if you can afford it, follow steps below…
To subscribe; Recharge N1000 & dial *481# For Unlimited Data; to be used between the hours of 12am to 6am.

A  shocking video of a woman in Portugal having sex with a bare-chested man in broad daylight in a park beside a youngster as other families played nearby, has gone viral and police in the country have confirmed they have launched an investigation after being tipped off about the video.

Onlookers who were stunned, filmed the shocking scenes at the river beach of Tabuao near the town of Paredes de Coura in the Porto region of northern Portugal.

The woman, who covered her nakedness by wearing a sarong, can be seen looking at the men filming her and smiling during the 11-minute footage. Police are currently looking for the couple.

No longer able to tolerate her husband's excesses, a 35-year-old housewife, Tomilola Ogundele, on Wednesday asked an Ikole Customary Court to dissolve her 16-year-old marriage to Olanrewaju Aluko.

The embittered woman claimed that her estranged husband has been a threat in her life, adding to that she also alleged the he has been threatening to deal with her by reporting her to the Ogboni cult.

The plaintiff, said Aluko later made due with his threat by reporting her to the members of the Ogboni cult over accusation of infidelity. The cult people summoned her to appear before it in 2012. "He does not care for my upkeep and that of the children nor responsible for the school fees of the three children which I shouldered alone. "He always threatens to use my hair and pants for rituals to make me mad if I ever make attempt to leave him. "I finally left him because of the continuous threats to my life so as to have peace of mind and cope with my life. "I want the court to dissolve the marriage with the defendant. "I also want the custody of the children because the defendant has no one that can help him take care of them,'' she added.

Ogundele filed for divorce on the grounds of alleged "threat to her life, no rest of mind, non-payment of her bride price and lack of care for her and the three children of the union."

She further prayed the court to order the defendant to pay all outstanding maintenance allowances and school fees of the children.

The woman demanded N20,000 as feeding allowance for the children and prayed the court to restrain the plaintiff from further disturbing her in her current residence.

However, the defendant, Olanrewaju Aluko, denied the allegations during cross examinations and told the court that he would explain his own side of the story when he opened his defense.

The Court's President, Mrs Yemisi Ojo, adjourned the case to July 11 for continuation of hearing. Ojo, however, warned the parties from harassing or assaulting each other anywhere. "Else, defaulter will be criminally liable. "

A mother allegedly burned her 11-year-old daughter after accusing her of stealing R20 in Botshabelo, South Africa last week. To make matter worse, she waited two days before taking the girl to the hospital.
The girl's aunt (centre) told Daily Sun the trouble started when her sister accused her own daughter of stealing R20 from her. The angry mum apparently told the girl to fetch boiling water and when she brought it, she told the girl to pour it into a wash basin. She allegedly then threw the water over her daughter's back.

The aunt said she found out what had happened when she went to visit her sister on Sunday, June 12. She said she had no choice but to go to the cops.

"The poor girl sustained burn wounds on her back and left arm. I know my sister is very abusive towards her children. What makes me very angry is that although the girl was badly injured on Thursday, she waited two days to go to hospital. All I want is for my sister to get help before she does something drastic."
Police spokesman constable Peter Kareli said a case of assault was opened against the mum and cops are investigating.

"The woman was arrested on Monday, June 13, and will appear in court again soon" Kareli said.

Sports Updates / France leaves it late to see off Albania
« on: June 15, 2016, 11:12:36 pm »

The tournament hosts who are among the favorites needed a late stunner from a Dmitri Payet to clinch all three points in their first game against Romania. They left it really late to defeat an Albanian side they were widely expected to defeat comfortably.

Two quick fire goals in the dying minutes of the game from Antoine Griezman and man of the moment, Dmitri Payet saved the hosts from an embarrassing stalemate.

The victory confirmed their qualification to the next stage but performances like these against much weaker opposition has led observers to question France's title credentials.

Interviewers ask a lot of questions and if one even dares to spill want they really think about the question, they'd be bundled out of the place by security.

earlyface brings you the hilarious things you want to say during an interview but we really won't!

Why do you think we should employ you: Because I'm so broke and can't afford to be jobless another day  without robbing a bank plus a credit alert the end of the month isn't a bad idea.

But instead you say; "because I'm smart, creative, have the skills to move the company forward, perform more miracles than Jesus and blah blah blah"

How much do you think we should pay you: One million, Nine hundred and ninety thousand, nine hundred will be fine for a start Sir.

But instead you say, "you should pay me whats in line with your company structure"

What will the company benefit from employing you: Simple Sir, I'd just add to the number of people that you have to grudgingly pay at the end of the month because we know most companies hate paying salaries.

But you'd rather say: "I can not only do the work but can deliver great results.I'll really fit in with the team and culture; and would be a better hire than any of the other candidates."

Can you tell me a little about yourself?: I love sleeping, watching movies, spending good quality time on social media and everything that does not include work

But you'd rather say; "I was the SUG president during my university days and was able to do blah blah blah"

What do you know about the company?: Not much. Just the part that you pay very well and can get me out of poverty.

But you'd rather say "the company has a policy of this and that which particularly drew me into applying for this job and so on."

Why are you leaving your current job? "Because the stupid company won't bother to pay me for nine months and my crazy boss knows nothings other than to nag the little peace in my life away."

But you'd rather say; "I'd really love to be part of product development from beginning to end, and I know I'd have that opportunity here."

Add yours guys and keep the fun going

It's a tale of perfect camaraderie and of co-dependence.Two years at sea have fostered a close relationship between the two fellow sailors as they cross the globe, through warm weather and cold.

One is a 24-year-old male. The other is a hen.
Guirec Soudee - the 24-year-old - is the one who does most of the hard work on board the boat.
Monique is the hen, who spends most of her time admiring the view from the deck, and laying the occasional egg.

The two have started building up a close following online in recent months as French media have picked up on their unusual adventure.

Guirec, who is from Brittany in France, began his trip around the world with Monique in May 2014.

After starting from the Canary Islands, Spanish territory near Africa's west coast, the pair sailed to St Bart's in the Caribbean before moving into the Arctic last August.

"I knew she was the one straight away," Guirec tells the BBC from western Greenland, where he is now moored.

"She was only about four or five months old then, and had never left the Canary Islands. I didn't speak any Spanish and she didn't speak any French, but we got along."

Guirec had planned to bring along a pet for company, but a hen wasn't originally on the cards.

"I thought about a cat, but decided it would be too much effort to look after it," he says.

"The hen was an ideal choice. It doesn't need that much looking after and I'm able to get eggs at sea. People told me it wouldn't work, that the hen would be too stressed and wouldn't lay eggs.
"But there was no problem, she laid eggs straight away. She adapted to it perfectly - she was very comfortable very quickly."

Over an average week, Monique lays six eggs, even in the cold climes of Greenland and even during three months there without sun.

England and Russia have been warned they face Euro 2016 disqualification if their fans continue with violent acts after Russian fans fought with English fans after Saturday's 1-1 draw.

UEFA has charged Russia and England with 'crowd disturbances, racist behaviour and setting off fireworks' while star player Wayne Rooney and England coach Roy Hodgson have pleaded with English fans to stay calm during the Euro tournament in France.

'Such unacceptable behaviour by so-called supporters of the national teams of England and Russia has no place in football, a sport we must protect and defend,' UEFA staunchly said on their website.

'The UEFA executive committee has warned both football associations that - irrespective of any decisions taken by the independent disciplinary bodies relating to incidents inside the stadium - it will not hesitate to impose additional sanctions on the FA and the Russian Football Union, including potential disqualification of their respective teams from the tournament, should such violence occur again.'

Wayne Rooney then pleaded with England fans in a video uploaded on the country's Instagram page:

'I'd like to thank the England fans for the great support inside the stadium against Russia and now we have a big game coming up against Wales,' said Rooney. I'd like to ask the fans, please, if you don't have a ticket don't travel. And for the fans with tickets, be safe, be sensible, and continue with your great support for the players. Thank you.

Meanwhile, Roy Hodgson, coach of England admitted he is concerned about the prospect of being kicked out of the tournament due to matters that are not football related.

'As England manager I'm obviously very concerned about the threat which is now hanging over us and the sanctions that could possibly be imposed on the England team,' said Hodgson.

We worked very hard to get here and we really desperately want to stay in the competition, I'm appealing therefore to all of our fans - and we appreciate your support at the matches of course. But I'm appealing to you to stay out of trouble and to try to make certain that these threats that are being issued are never carried out and we will be able to attempt to do the best we can to stay in this competition by football means.'

England will play Wales on Thursday.

She was joined by stars including Danny DeVito, Carly Rae Jepsen and Kelly Osbourne at the LA Pride parade in West Hollywood, California,on Sunday.

Dedicating her performance to the 50 dead and 53 injured in the Orlando, Florida, gay nightclub shooting, the teen danced and sung her heart out.

'I could have danced all night in celebration of our freedom and equality. In memory of the victims this weekend, we stand with you and your families.'

Bias against feminine and ethnic names is alive and well in the corporate workplace.

When Erin McKelvey applied for a job in the tech industry after finishing college in the mid-1990s, she got zero response. So she consulted a friend, who offered some advice.

The friend had run into the same issue and had decided to shorten her name, Alexandra, to the more gender-neutral "Alex" on her resume. "Alex" received a much better response from prospective employers and the move ultimately led to a job at a global insurance holding company.

Inspired by her friend's experience, McKelvey came up with a nickname for herself-Mack, a shortened version of her last name-and used it as her first name on her resume.

The result? "Mack" McKelvey's resume got a 70% response rate. "Was it because it was an unusual name? A male name? A catchy name? I'll never know," McKelvey toldFortune. "Mack McKelvey was born and I accidentally branded myself," she says. McKelvey got a job as a contractor at AT&T a few weeks after tweaking her name and now works as a partner at strategic advisory firm Chameleon Collective, and as CEO of tech product incubator SalientMG.
McKelvey shared her story after Fortune's World's Most Powerful Women newsletter reported that, even two decades on, name bias is prevalent in corporate hiring. The issue has bubbled up recently as people with feminine or ethnic names have told stories of finding jobs only after tweaking their names to ones that are likely to be perceived as more masculine and more white. Those anecdotes have incited fury over the discrimination that continues to plague workplaces worldwide, but they also pose tricky ethical questions.

Last week, the Financial Times told the story of Kayo Anosike, whose job applications seemed to go unnoticed until she started submitting her resume as "Kayla Benjamin." And Panagiota Drepaniotis said in an interview with Fortune that she had a similar experience. The executive assistant to the CEO of meal delivery startup Freshly says while she got her current job through a former coworker, she ran into problems when she applied for past jobs. When she applied using her real name, she got "radio silence." But when she changed her first name to "Patty," she heard back immediately.

Other Tech Updates / Snapchat To Surpass Twitter, Pinterest
« on: June 12, 2016, 07:00:48 am »

Messaging app Snapchat will surpass Twitter and Pinterest in the number U.S. users this year, according to a new report from market research firm eMarketer.

Snapchat's U.S. user base will grow 27.2% to 58.6 million users, that would put it ahead of Twitter's predicted 56.8 million U.S. users and Pinterest's 54.6 million, according to eMarketer.
Passing Twitter and Pinterest would be yet one more achievement for Snapchat, the fast growing startup best known for its disappearing photos. Since its debut in 2011, it has gained huge momentum and a valuation of $20 billion in its most recent funding round.

Snapchat, which has 110 million daily active users worldwide as of December, according to Bloomberg. is becoming the social media app of choice for young users.
