A dose of 15 g/day dried barley leaf extract has been used to lower cholesterol.
Sachet (3 grams): 1-3 sachets per day.
Capsules (500 mg): Take 2-6 capsules 3x a day before meals.
Note: 1 sachet is equivalent to 6 capsules.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE:

Sachet: Pour the contents of one sachet into one glass of cold water. Stir well. Add more or less water according to desired taste.
Capsules: Drink as you would any medicine in capsule form.
Note: Best taken on an empty stomach at least 30 minutes before a meal.

IMPORTANT REMINDER: Please consult your doctor first before taking Santé Green Barley especially if you are pregnant, breast-feeding, undergoing treatment and/or or taking regular medications for illnesses or diseases.
Pregnancy and breast-feeding: Barley is LIKELY SAFE when taken by mouth during pregnancy in amounts commonly found in foods. If you are breast-feeding, it’s best to avid barley in medicinal amounts. Not enough is known about the safety of taking barley during breast-feeding.
Celiac disease or gluten sensitivity: Although hypersensitivity to barley products is associated with the seed and not the green leaves or shoots, patients with celiac disease or other sensitivities to barley should avoid use of barley grass.
Surgery: Barley might lower blood sugar levels. There is a concern that it might interfere with blood sugar control during and after surgery. Stop using barley at least 2 weeks before a scheduled surgery.
Nausea: Because of the strong cleansing effects of barley grass, over-consumption can cause nausea. New users are cautioned to begin with small amounts.
