The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board, JAMB has begun registration for the upcoming Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination in March 2018.
The registration exercised has commenced in over 700 centres across the country and will end in February 6, 2018.

The board, however, advised candidates to beware of fraudulent operators, adding that an extension would not be given for the registration exercise.

Reminding the candidates of the optional mock exam, the JAMB spokesman, Fabian Benjamin in a statement released on Thursday, December said the deadline for the examination is December.

He said, “We will also want to state clearly that the board does not post candidates to any examination town other than the one chosen by the candidate at the point of registration.  Candidates are, however, advised to register on time before the available spaces in their town of choice are exhausted.

“The registration exercise started on Wednesday,  December 6. The system is simple and convenient, and candidates are requested to do it by themselves to avoid being defrauded by anybody.

“Candidates who desire to register for the optional mock are also urged to do so as the platform will be withdrawn by December 30. Only those who have registered and indicated their interest on or before that time will be enlisted to participate.

“The board again reiterated its avowed commitment to conduct a hitch-free examination and advance the cause of any Nigerian child desirous of qualitative tertiary education in the country.”

On Wednesday, December 6,  the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board began the sale of the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination, UTME 2018 application form.
