The Diamond Bank has taken banking to the next level. In conjunction with MTN, it has introduced a new mobile banking system called Diamond Yello Account (DYA). DYA is easy to open, safe and offers a convenient full banking service to all active MTN subscribers from their mobile phone
You do not need to go through the rigour of producing all sorts of documentation or physically visit a bank before the account is opened. You just dial code *710# from your MTN phone and start the process.DYA agents are all over to assist you with your transactions. You will be given an account number and a PIN. That is all.

With Diamond Yello Account you will be able to:
Do mobile transfer from Diamond Bank to any Nigerian bank account.
Receive money from any Nigerian bank account.
Deposit and withdraw quickly through DYA agents.
Buy airtime and data without cash.
Pay for subscription and bills
Do outright shopping, paying from your DYA
How To Deposit Money Into Diamond Yello Account
Visit an agent of Diamond Yello Account and tell him you want to deposit to your DYA and the amount.
Give him the cash.
The agent will ask for your DYA Account number
Your account will be credited with the amount you paid him
Barring any network or another failure, you will immediately receive a credit alert bearing the cost.
Before you leave the agent’s office, make sure you receive the message and check your account balance to be sure that your account has indeed being credited.
The process is essentially the same in the other way round if you want to withdraw cash from your Diamond Yello Account, except the following additions:
The agent will give you a specific instruction.
The system will send a confirmation prompt to your phone to be sure you approve the withdrawal. The agent will wait for your approval before proceeding with the payment.
From the agent office Dial *710# on your MTN line and follow the process.
You will be required to enter your account
You will receive a message confirming the success of the transaction along and your account balance after the transaction.
Collect the cash from the agent.
From your Diamond Yellow Account, you can also view your account number on your mobile phone, check your account balance, buy MTN airtime, transfer money to another DYA, transfer to a non-DYA holder, transfer to MTN line unbanked user, and transfer to a non-MTN unbanked user, among others.
