Title: Rules Guiding Posting !
Post by: Mr.BRAIN on November 04, 2012, 09:24:04 pm
Forum Rules:
Please abide by the following extremely reasonable rules if you intend to post in the forums.

No Spam / Advertising:
Advertising of any commercial product or service on these forums is not permitted. Chain letters and pyramid schemes are similarly prohibited.

Flaming:
Any material which constitutes defamation, harassment, or abuse is strictly prohibited. Use common sense while posting.

Offensive Content:
Material that is sexually or otherwise obscene, racist, or otherwise overly discriminatory is not permitted on these forums. This includes user pictures. Use common sense. We want to show this website to our mums.

Illegal Content:
Providing or asking for information on how to illegally obtain or provide **** software ("****"), keygens, serials or music is forbidden.

Cross-posting:
Posting a thread in more than one forum is annoying and thus not allowed. Just post it once in the correct place.

Signature Size:
To avoid annoyance, signatures should not be more than five lines of text or 100px height. If images are used in a signature, they should be smaller than 15KB.

Copyright and ownership:
Comments & forum messages are owned by the poster.

Don't be a pain in the ass:
You are expected to respect the moderators and other members as well.

Any penalties for the above rules are at the moderation team's discretion. People have been banned (username/IP range) from the site in the past for causing trouble in the forums.

Summary of our posting rules.

1. There will be no insults based on race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation or gender identity, or any other personal discriminations.

2. Spamming is not permitted. Please endeavour to post your new topics under the most suitable board to prevent your posts from being deleted.

3. No trolling or flaming. A troll is a person who makes comments designed to induce angry replies. A flame is a hostile message that constitutes a personal attack against another member or group. We don't like trolls or flamers.

4. Pornography may not be linked or posted in any shape or form.

5. General 'hate' comments are strongly discouraged. Please try to keep your posts as constructive as possible. Posts should be about what the person is doing/saying on YouTube/Twitter/Blogs/Fan pages and not including personal information. The Moderators and Admin have the right to alter or delete any offensive post.

6. Users may not argue a moderators decision publicly. Any and all complaints directed at a moderator must first address the moderator in question via PM. If the problem can not be resolved, then the moderator and user must send their positions to the forum admin. The forum admin will make or change any and/or all final decisions.

7. Please post in the correct forum. Take your time to look at other topics and see where your topic should go. If your topic is placed in the wrong forum, it will be moved by a moderator. Also make use of the search function to see if there are already existing threads regarding a topic before creating a new one.

8. If a topic is recognized as being posted in the wrong forum, or if the post is a violation of our guidelines then please contact a moderator either via PM; please do not respond publicly to the member - a moderator will do what is required upon contact.

9. Locked topics will be pruned regularly to reduce page clutter. If you have a question about where your topic went, please PM a Moderator or Administrator before starting a new topic asking where it went, or posting a duplicate of the original topic. We will be happy to provide you with a link to the new location, or a reason why it was removed.

10. You may have one username on the board at any one time. We reserve the right to merge or delete multiple accounts.

11. You are fully responsible for your own account and protection of your password. Statements such as "My friend/sister/brother/dog was using my account." are not acceptable as an explanation for the violation of any rule. If you share your account with someone and they break the rules, it will be treated the same as if you broke the rules yourself.

Breaking any of these rules can get you banned from this forum so we urge you to please play by the rules.

Thank you.
