This is to inform the public that the Federal poly Admission into HND and ND
Programmes (Weekend and Evening) is on.
Eligibility
HIGHER NATIONAL DIPLOMA (HND) – 2 YEARS
General Entry Requirements
I) Candidates must hold the minimum entry requirements for ND programme in
the specified field.
II) They must possess the National Diploma of the Federal Polytechnic Nekede,
Owerri or the equivalent from recognized institutions in the appropriate discipline
with minimum of lower credit pass (CGPA 2.50).
III) For candidates with pass level and CGPA not below 2.00 points, a minimum of
two years post ND cognate working experience is required. (Applicable to Federal
Polytechnic Nekede (ND) graduates only).
IV) Candidates from other institutions with pass level are not admittable.

Method of Application
FOR HND STUDENTS
1) All candidates MUST first go to the school portal www.fpno.edu.ng and click
on “Application link” on the homepage under Students. Depending on your interest
chose either HND or ND to proceed.
2) Fill your Bio-data in the form and generate a “PAYEE IDENTIFICATION” print or
copy out the code. You can do this process on your mobile phone or Tablets.
3) Proceed to the designated banks below to make payment of N8, 000 using your
PAYEE ID. This fee includes your processing and printing of your final application
forms from designated cyber cafe. You can also choose to make your payment
using your VERVE, VISA or MASTER CARD, if you choose the card payment, you
will be asked to fill your card details for the payment to be processed
immediately.
4) Approved Banks Nationwide where payment can be made

5) Return to the school portal www.fpno.edu.ng and complete your application
process, submit your data as requested and print out your confirmation receipt. If
you process your payment using your card, you will return to the portal
immediately to print your receipt and confirmation slip.
6) All Applications MUST be concluded on or before 12 midnight of 30th July,
2015. Applicants can start and complete this process anywhere in the country.
Avoid travelling to Owerri to fill the form.
FOR ND STUDENTS
Below is the process flow for the sale of forms application
1. Log on to www.fpno.edu.ng
2. Click on "Applications " on the main menu
3. Scroll down to "Online Application Forms"
4. On the landing page click on the "generate Invoice" button
5. Select programme of choice and Course followed by your Name and Contact
details
6. Proceed to the bank with the invoice generated to obtain a confirmation order
number
7. Return back to the polytechnic website i.e Admissions -> Online Application

8. Click on the "Fill Application form" button
9. Enter the confirmation order number obtained from the bank
10. Complete the form as applicable
11. Scan and paste a colour passport-size photograph in the space provide on the
online form.
12. Confirm and submit. Print a copy of the completed Acknowledgment Slip and
Exam Slip
