During the maiden convocation of the Elizade University Iaraa-Moin in Ondo State,A total of 35 students received their first degree certificates. This ceremony is scheduled to hold this weekend.
Speaking at the pre-convocation press conference, the Vice Chancellor of the university, Prof. Theophileus Oyeyemi Fadayemi, disclosed that the 35 graduates are from the 65 first set of students admitted into the institution.
Two of the students, who bagged the first class honours, the Vice Chancellor said were on full scholarships granted by the proprietor of the university, Chief Michael Ade Ojo.
Fadayomi, who was flanked by the Registrar of the University, Mr Omololu Adegbenro and other principal officers during the briefing, added that 17 and 13 students bagged second class upper division, second class lower division honours of the university.
