After Protest: UNIPORT Announces Resumption Date

University of Port-Harcourt, UNIPORT resumption notice to students and members of the university community.
UNIPORT resumption notice
This is to inform all the students and members of the University of Port-Harcourt (UNIPORT) community that the Senate of the university has approved the re-opening of the university at its 422nd meeting (extra-ordinary) held on June 10, 2016.
The Senate of the university has approved Sunday, 19th June, 2016 as the resumption date for the continuation of the 1st semester, 2015/2016 academic session that was disrupted by students’ unrest.

The school was closed on April 11, after students protested “no tuition no examination” policy, which compelled defaulting students to repeat a whole academic session.
The first semester examination will take off immediately upon resumption and will last for a period of 4 weeks.

All Full-Time Undergraduate Students are, therefore, required to print and complete the undertaking of Good Conduct Form at
http://ecampus.uniport.edu.ng for submission at the commencement of the second semester.
The Registrar, welcomed the students back to the university as they arrive on Campus to commence their First Semester Examinations.
