(i) -climatic factors:high temperature with low rainfall leads to sparse vegetation
-the higher, the rainfall, the denser the vegetation
-high temperature and high rainfall leads to luxuriant vegetation
-when temperature is low, no plant grows
-sunshine provides energy for photosynthesis needed for luxuriant growth.

(5aii)geomorphic factors:
-rainfall on sleep slopes leads to run off, leading to low vegetation
-the sleeper the slope, the lesser the vegetation
-eroded top soil in slopy area does not support vegetation
-in higher latitudes aspect plays an important role on available energy and vegetation distribution.

-the fruit is evergreen and could be up to 60m height with broad leaves

-there are various interlocking branches having layers of trees i.e lower middle and upper storey canopies.

(6) (a) plateau is an elevated upland that has an extensive flat or level surface which usually descends sharply to the surrounding lowland

(6b) (i)tectonic plateau:these plateau are formed as a result of earth movement which caves uplift of some areas and the depression of others. uplifted areas or undulating land form tectonic plateau and the depressed area form basin.
(ii) dissected plateau:they are formed due to weathering and agents of denudation such as running water, ice etc which weards down a large and extensive plateau into permanent structures or irregular surfaces called disseected plateau. they may also be formed as a result of uplift

(6c)
(i)plateau are sources of valuable materials like tin, goldwhich are useful to man
(ii)some plateau are centeres of tourist attraction
(iii)some plateau have cold climatic which encourages settlement of people.
