(1a) 6((16 - 7)/) -1/2 * 1/2.
6(9/16) -1/2 * 1/2.
6(16/9) 1/2 * 1/2.
6(4/3)*1/2.
6* 4/3*1/2=4
(1b) {180(n-2)}/n= 108 + 360/n.
(180n - 360)/n - (360/n)=108.
180n-720=108n.
180n-108n=720.
72n=720.
n=720/72.
n=10.

(3b) let the amount be x,
( (2.5x)/(100) + x) - ( (2x)/(100) + x) =500.
2.5x/100 -2x/100 =500.
(2.5x-2x)/100=500.
0.5x=500 * 100.
x=(500*100)/ 0.5.
=N100,000

(4a) 7x +4<1/2(4x +3).
7x-2x<3/2-4.
5x<-5/2.
x<-5/2*1/5.
x<-1/2.

(4b)let x be first no.
Let 2x be second no.
Let third no be 2x + 6.
Hence,
x+2x+2x+6=81.
5x=81-6=75.
x=15. Therefore.
1st no =15.
2nd no=30.
3rd no=36.

(5a)72+68+x+x+82=360.
2x=360-222.
2x=138.
x=138/2.
x=69.
let y be the total cost,then 69/360*y=34500.
y=(360*34500)/69=N180,000.
But the cost for textile=68/360*180,000=N34,000.

(5b)YZW is isosceles.
Hence,<ZYW=<YWZ=(180-42)/2.
=69.
Hence, < XYW=100-69=31.
m= < XYW=31(exterior opposite angle of a cyclic quadrilateral)

(6a) y^2-x^2=5(y-x)^2.
y^2- x^2=5(y-x)(y-x).
y^2-x^2=5(y^2-2xy+x^2).
y^2-x^2=5y^2-10xy+5x^2.
5y^2-y^2-10xy+5x
2+x^2=0.
6x^2-6xy-4xy+4y^2=0. 6x(x-y)-4y(x-y)=0.
(6x-4y)(x-y)=0.
6x-4y=0 or x-y=0.
6x=4y or x=y.
x/y=4/6 or x/y=1/1 .

When m=2/3, n=1/5.
X=128m^2n^2.
