Agriculture has been the back bone of most African countries,the increase in population and civilization has hinder the growth of agriculture in most African countries leading to food insecurity.

More structures are been put up to serve as shelter and offices,the use of agro chemicals in farming in the quest to boost production has rendered most farm land infertile over a short period of time,forest reserved are been destroyed were trees are used for fire wood and furniture as well loosing wild lives.

In the olden days the teacher,the lawyer, the artist, the craftsman, the mason do not have to worry so much as  to where food will be coming from because most people have lands to farm on.

Though civilization has helped the farmer to boost production through the use of technology,keeping of data, it has done more harm than good,as at now most African countries such as Ghana find it difficult to feed its natives.
